to release this book. We're in the position of having to go up against not
only the Kennedys but the King family as well and we just don't have the

I figure legal trouble with the Kennedys and Kings would sell a million
copies. They haven't a leg to stand on. This is satire. Let it go to the

To which the publisher answered that they can't afford the legal
costs. I immediately contacted several e-book publishers which agreed to
sell the book over the net and I guess that's what I'll do in time.

A brave Salt Lake City radio station is breaking the Wayne Owens
murder. For once, there is a feeling that this lonely work of mine could
result in an official investigation. I exposed the murder on the Barbara
Jean Show three days ago and have been invited to talk about Owens for two

OWENS' LAST DAYS
FORMER Utah Senator Wayne Owens was murdered on Dec.18 in Tel Aviv
at the end of a factfinding mission shared with House Representatives David
Price and Jim Davis. Price prepared a summation of the mission, noting
early on that, "Wayne Owens had few illusions about the
obstacles to getting peace negotiations back on track."
He continued: "We met in Cairo with Chief of Intelligence General
Omar Seuliman regarding the next round of cease-fire
talks to be brokered by Egypt among Hamas, Fatah, and
possibly other groups.
"We then visited chief Palestinian Authority
negotiator Abu Mazen on the day it was determined that
he would personally attend this second round.
"We met with Palestinian Authority Finance Minister
Salam Fayyad regarding financial and budget reform,
where there has been enough progress to allow the U.S.
to broker the release of a first installment of
Palestinian Authority revenues impounded by Israel.
"We talked with Sari Nusseibeh, head of Jerusalem
Affairs for the PLO, about the back-channel,
unofficial peace initiatives undertaken by him and
others."

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat has taken
over responsibility for the Jerusalem portfolio by
deposing prominent Palestinian peace activist Prof.
Sari Nusseibeh.
Nussibeh, president of Al Quds University, hammered
out a peace plan with former Shin Bet chief Maj. Gen.
(res.) Ami Ayalon earlier this year.
A senior Palestinian official who asked to remain
unnamed said that Nusseibeh's removal and the
establishment of the two committees appear to be part
of a pattern of eccentric behavior exhibited by
Arafat. The official mentioned, for example, Arafat's
announcement that East Jerusalem publisher Hanna
Siniora would be the PA's ambassador in Washington,
but when the prospective envoy arrived in the U.S.
capital, Arafat backed down from the appointment.
Recent visitors to Arafat's office in the Muqata said
his behavior has become strange. They said he was not
focused, spoke in a confused manner, and his lips are
shaking again. His doctors attribute the shaking lips
to neurological damage that followed an airplane crash
in the Libyan desert that Arafat survived.
During the past year, Nusseibeh and Ayalon worked out
a draft peace plan based on the 1967 borders without a
right of return for Palestinian refugees. The paper
was presented publicly a few months ago at a modest
ceremony in Athens attended by former U.S. president
Bill Clinton and the Greek foreign minister.
Yesterday, however, Nusseibeh issued a statement
saying that in protest of the arrest of Musa Balawneh,
a former militant-turned-peace activist in Nusseibeh's
"People's Peace Campaign," which hopes to get one
million signatures on the Nusseibeh-Ayalon plan,
Nusseibeh is ceasing his peace activist work in the
Palestinian community, his dialogue with Israel, and
his efforts to transform the armed intifada into a
non-violent civil disobedience campaign - until
Balawneh is released.
Balawneh was arrested Wednesday night at a checkpoint
near Nablus while on his way to a meeting of peace
activists in Ramallah. According to Nusseibeh,
Balawneh has not been accused of anything nor informed
of the reason for the arrest. Balawneh's travel
permit, according to the Nusseibeh statement, was
issued by Israel at Nusseibeh's request and with
Israeli understanding that he would not be intercepted
or arrested.
THE PLOT SO FAR
1. ON December 17, Owens' group met with Sari Nusseibeh, the Palestinian
Authority's
Jerusalem Affairs minister and Finance Minister Salam Fayyad.
2. On Dec.18, Owens met with Avi Gil, Shimon Peres' deputy director, for
dinner. Owens was found dead on a Tel Aviv beach two and a half hours later.
3. A short time after Owens' body was discovered, Nusseibeh's political
partner, Ibrahim Musa Mussalam Balawneh, was arrested by IDF troops.
4. On Dec.19, Nusseibeh condemned the arrest of Balawneh who was travelling
on a special permit that he personally arranged.
5. Also on Dec. 19, Arafat stripped Nusseibeh of his Jerusalem portfolio.
And jumping ahead:
6. On Feb.15, under American pressure, Arafat agreed to share power with
Salam Fayyad.
If no one minds, I'm going to give away the motive for murder. I may
have been underestimating Owens. It seems that he was plotting behind
Arafat's back with the, possibly, untainted Nusseibeh. The goal was to
replace Arafat's criminal regime with one run by Nusseibeh and Fayyad. If
that happened, a lot of crooks headed by Arafat and Peres were going to
lose hundreds of millions of dollars, if not billions.
I am not going to rehash my previous articles at this point. I will
send them to those who so request. But I had put Owens in the middle of an
enormous Oslo embezzlement cartel whose members included Arafat, Peres,
Muhamed Rashid, Hani Masri, Yossi Ginosar, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of
Jerusalem and a host of sundry American, Arab and Israeli politicians, all
taking their cuts of the peace pie. Now we must ask if Owens was attempting
to destroy this extended crime family.
I was asked by Salt Lake City radio hostess Barbara Jean if there was
any chance that Owens didn't know about the crimes being run through his
and Peres' peace centers. I answered that after 13 years in the Middle East
peace business, Owens had to have been a willing participant. The latest
evidence more than suggests that either he was used all these years or he
had a change of heart and decided to do the right thing and end the
Arafat/Peres crime syndicate. This betrayal would have constituted a strong
motive for murder.
ENTER USAID
READERS will recall that at the time of his murder, Owens was the CEO
of a desalinization project and Peres was the project's NGO director. USAID
provided $128 million of American taxpayer's money to fund the enterprise.
Following is a press release from the US Consulate in Jerusalem from
April 4, 2002 announcing, "The U.S. Government to finance construction of a
seawater desalination plant and water carrier pipeline in the Gaza Strip."

"Congratulating Minister Sha'ath and Chairman Sharif,
U.S. Consul General Schlicher remarked, "The
Palestinian Authority is to be complimented for taking
the steps necessary to introduce desalinated water on
a large scale for the people of Gaza. This agreement
will result in an increased supply of water while also
protecting the ground water quality in Gaza." USAID
Mission Director Garber added that, "USAID financed a
pilot desalination project in Gaza with superior
results. We are pleased that MOPIC and the PWA have
asked us to help them with these historic desalination
and water distribution projects that will bring
healthier lives to people throughout the Gaza Strip."
SO who is the USAID Director Larry Garber? Here is a bit of background
found, guess where? On Wayne Owens own web site. Why is Larry Garber's bio
on Owens site? Because they invited him to speak at the Center for Middle
East Peace and Economic Development on January 29, 2002.

Here are some key points from his talk:
*** The West Bank and Gaza are among the top five
recipients of U.S. assistance in the world and are
probably the largest recipients of per capita aid other
than Israel.
*** Congressional legislation prevents USAID (and
the United States) from providing any funding directly
to the Palestinian Authority; it only provides grants
to NGOs and commercial businesses, whose programs are
overseen and audited by USAID.
*** Before September 2000...The Peres Center for Peace
was working with USAID on developing an information
technology park in Tulkarm, and USAID was in the third
phase of developing its wastewater treatment program.
[*** In response to the deteriorating situation...
Border industrial zone and local government projects
have been suspended, but rule of law and civil society
programs continue, as do some infrastructure projects,
such as a desalination plant and water carrier in Gaza
and a wastewater treatment facility in Hebron.
NOW what do we notice here? We learn that USAID, and its billion
dollars invested in the region so far, only work through NGOs; and who is
NGO director of the biggest project of all, Wayne Owens' desalinization
plant? Why it just happens to be Shimon Peres. But recall that Arafat's
NGOs also received $75 million from USAID to construct a water carrier in
Gaza, we must believe, to transport some of the desalinized water to him
for sale to his people.
But of course, a good chunk of the dough will finance terror and Peres
and Owens, unless they were completely blind, had to have known that when
they arranged it for him.
Owens, however, had an out. USAID had a director in the region who was
responsible for auditing the funds. His name was Larry Foley and he was
murdered:
Lawrence Foley who was the most senior USAID employee
based in Amman Jordan. Unfortunately he was
assassinated on October 28, 2002.

NOW who would have benefitted from this murder? You can be sure, for
starters, everyone involved in the Owens desalinization project. For
instance, the builders:
Desalination To Meet Shortfall After Water Import Deal
Setback
National Infrastructure Minister Avigdor Lieberman
said on 11/28 that Israel would have to build a new
desalination plant for 50 million cubic meters of
water a year if the government fails to follow through
plans to import water from Turkey. Lieberman made the
comment following the tender's cancellation by an
inter-ministerial committee. The only two bidders -
Universe Waters and Anatalia - said a clause in the
tender that would allow the government of Israel to
cancel the project without compensation for up to a
year after the contract is signed was unacceptable.
The companies said they could not afford to invest
tens of millions of dollars in refitting oil tankers
for water transport without receiving compensation if
the project is scrapped. Water experts say that even
if the import of water from Turkey goes forward, the
panel's decision would set the project back by up to
two years and leave the country short of 50 million
cubic meters of water a year. A senior ministry
official said that if a desalination plant is built in
place of importing water from Turkey, it should be
constructed south of Ashkelon, where plans are already
afoot for such a plant that is to be built by the VID
consortium, composed of Dankner Elran Investments,
Engineering & Desalination (part of Israel Chemicals)
and Vivendi, the world's largest desalination company.
The government has the option of asking the consortium
to increase its production from 50 million cubic
meters of water a year to 100 million cubic meters.
But David Gershonovitz, chair of the central committee
for desalination, said last week that if an additional
facility is to be constructed, the contract will not
be automatically given to VID but would be subject to

AFTER sabotaging the Turkish water project with an option no company
could accept, desalinization carried on, full steam ahead:
The tender for the construction of Israel's first seawater
desalination plant ended this week with a surprising price - 52.69 cents
per cubic meter - the lowest ever price offered worldwide for seawater
desalination. The group that was awarded the project is V.I.D.
Desalination, comprising Dankner-Elran investments (25%), Desalination
Engineering (50%) and Vivendi (25%), which is the world's largest water
company and is French-American owned.
THE tie here which should raise alarm bells is Vivendi. In July 2000,
the Seagrams Group, founded and controlled by the Bronfman family, bought
Vivendi. Charles Bronfman is a member of the board of The Peres Center For
Peace. He is, along with Daniel Abraham, Owens' business partner, the
leading contributor to Peres' center and to Peace Now. Sarah Ehrman, on the
board of both Owens' peace center and water project, was director of Peace
Now - America. And the ties get deeper and deeper.
Let's cut to the chase. Did the Bronfman family decide to go into the
water business in July 2000 because of the guaranteed prospect of building
a $150 million desalinization plant in Ashkelon and other projects funded
by USAID? How much of USAID funds to "peace" went into the hands of other
nepotists and insiders for "peace?" How much funded the murders of Israelis
for "peace?"
THE FALLOUT SINCE THE OWENS MURDER

Palestinian Finance Minister Salaam Fayad confirmed
Tuesday that Israel earlier this week transferred to
the Palestinian Authority almost $60 million in taxes
(some NIS 280m.) collected from Palestinian laborers
and businesses, the single largest payment since the
fighting began.
A senior diplomatic official said Israel is satisfied
that with a new US-backed supervisory mechanism in
place, the money is not being funneled to fund or
support terrorism.
Some NIS 100m. of this amount is not merely tax
payments due the PA from the previous month, but comes
from the more than NIS 2.5 billion that has been
frozen since the early days of the violence.
"There is an expectation that Israel will make the
payments regularly now," The Associated Press quoted
Fayad as saying.
Fayad, according to one senior Israeli official, is
"giving us hope that at least in the financial sphere
some reform is being done. He is trying to do what he
can."
The transfer of the funds was made possible after the
establishment of a supervisory mechanism to ensure
that the money is not misused. The main component of
the supervisory mechanism is the placement of
officials from the US Agency for International
Development inside the PA Finance Ministry to train
auditors and help monitor the money flow.
USAID is now firmly in charge of auditing funds to the PA. And Fayad
is sharing power with Arafat. It seems Owens got his way after all.
But look at one of the conditions for releasing new funds:

"Prior to the second intifada, the PLO agreed to
cooperate with our requests for information available
to them that could shed light on the status of U.S.
nationals known to have been held by the PLO or
factions thereof in the past. Currently, we do not
have an ongoing relationship with the PLO on these
matters."
NOW who are these Americans held by the PLO? Could they have been
USAID workers who got in the way and had to be persuaded not to report
anything that would upset the Arafat/Peres crime syndicate? Presumably
they got off cheaper than Foley and Owens.

February 8, 2003 - SHUTTLE PERSUASION
YESTERDAY, I was sent a photo of what was purported to be the
electric charge that struck Columbia. After seeing the weird blue looped
streak I was all prepared to say, "Case closed. We know what damaged the
craft's left wing and caused the crash seven minutes later. Now I can
concentrate on my Israeli reports like I was born to do."
I was all ready to prepare a jpg of the streak and send it out. But
then I noticed there were clouds, lots of them, above the supposed
Columbia: at 212000 feet, a sky full of clouds. This picture was a hoax.
That led me to the next step in logical thinking: this is all too easy. An
electric discharge is photographed bolting into Columbus. Proof quickly
arrives that electric storms occur in the high atmosphere. Mystery solved.
Lightning knocked out the left wing. Let's bury the astronauts and go home.
Such an approach is a good idea if you're covering up facts,
considering more and more influential people want to know if the blue light
was caused by a Star Wars Weapon:

Dallas Congressman, Pete Sessions(R-Dallas), and son for former FBI
Director Judge William Sessions, told KLIF-AM talk radio, on Saturday
morning, that these electrical flashes are very disturbing. He speculated
that America's enemies, citing China, had developed SDI weapons.
(Was this an assassination contracted by Iraq to the ChiComms?)

Congressman Pete Sessions, Republican-Northwest Dallas, and son of former
FBI Director William Sessions (of San Antonio), has called for an
investigation of the mysterious flashes of light seen just before the
Columbia accident.

TO PREVENT such calls for a real investigation, the strategy is; let
us quickly prepare data that will lead all to one inescapable conclusion; a
storm in an unknown part of the high atmosphere released a bolt of
lightning which damaged the Shuttle's left wing and caused it to break up
and crash. Or, as we shall conjecture shortly, let's have it prepared
before the disaster:

final minute of flight by the space shuttle Columbia showed "heavy
structural damage on the left wing near the fuselage," a source
familiar with the investigation of the disaster told NBC News on
Friday.

Scientists poring over 'infrasonic' sound waves

Federal scientists are looking for evidence that a bolt of electricity in
the upper atmosphere might have doomed the space shuttle Columbia as it
streaked over California, The Chronicle has learned.
Investigators are combing records from a network of ultra-sensitive
instruments that might have detected a faint thunderclap in the upper
atmosphere at the same time a photograph taken by a San Francisco
astronomer appears to show a purplish bolt of lightning striking the shuttle.
Should the photo turn out to be an authentic image of an electrical event
on Columbia, it would not only change the focus of the crash investigation,
but it could open a door on a new realm of science.
"We're working hard on the data set. We have an obligation," said Alfred
Bedard, a scientist at the federal Environmental Technology Laboratory in
Boulder, Colo. He said the lab was providing the data to NASA but that it
was too early to draw any conclusions from the sounds of the shuttle re-entry.
The lab has been listening to the sounds of ghostly electromagnetic
phenomena in the upper atmosphere, dubbed sprites, blue jets and elves. For
some time, scientists have speculated on whether these events could
endanger airliners or returning spacecraft.
A study conducted 10 years ago for NASA found that there is a 1-in-100
chance that a space shuttle could fly through a sprite, although it
concluded that the consequences of such an event were unclear. And in 1989,
an upper- atmospheric electrical strike "shot down" a high-altitude NASA
balloon 129,000 feet over Dallas.

Nothing but a rocket can fly at its upper limit of 53 miles. The
"ignorosphere" encompasses the mesosphere and upper stratosphere.
Invisible clouds, strange electrical flashes called red sprites and blue
lightning bolts that strike upward from the tops of clouds inhabit the thin
air. This is the place where falling stars are made.
The "ignorosphere" earns its nickname from the fact that you can't get
there from here without a rocket. It is too high for weather balloons and
too low for satellites to dip down to gather information.
Much of what is known about the upper atmosphere comes from measurements
collected during more than 100 re-entries by space shuttles since the first
launch of the Columbia in 1981.
What is perhaps least known about the mesosphere is how to fly in it. This
may be a missing links in the Columbia mystery. Scientists say that one of
the big unknowns is the behavior of airflow over the shuttle as it streaks
downward into the thinnest of thin air at speeds of 17,000 to 14,000 miles
per hour. Xiaolin Zhong, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering
at UCLA is studying the airflow problem for the Air Force Office of
Scientific Research.
Space shuttles can experience unpredictable airflow problems on the wings
for a variety of reasons: the wrong trajectory, unknown atmospheric
conditions or any roughness on the shuttle's surface. These problems are
known to cause intense heating, which is a focus of NASA's investigation.
Understanding these airflow problems is one of the top priorities of the
Air Force, which is planning to build its own space plane and upper
atmosphere aircraft.
"Part of my work is on disturbances" in airflow that can potentially burn
up a shuttle, says Zhong. "This is still more art than science."
Zhong says this problem was one of four major reasons cited a decade ago
for canceling the National Aerospace Plane, which was supposed to replace
the shuttle.
As NASA proceeds with its investigation, scientists will have to ponder the
many mysteries of the "ignorosphere." A report by NASA scientists released
last fall describes concerns about the impact of upper atmospheric
phenomenon on the space shuttle:
· Transparent clouds, called "noctilucent" clouds, float 50 miles
above Earth and are visible only at twilight. These silvery cirrus clouds
form at the edges of much larger clouds. Models of shuttle impacts with
them "vary from trivial to catastrophic" according to the report, which
says "the most severe effect of entry through a noctilucent cloud would
probably be the erosion of the thermal protection system during the most
critical heating region." That critical heating region is where Columbia
was destroyed. The agency plans its re-entry paths to avoid regions thought
prone to these clouds.
· Red sprites are electrical discharges in the upper atmosphere. They
occur over thunderclouds and have been considered to pose less than a one
in 100 risk to the shuttle. Some rainstorm clouds did appear over Northern
California during re-entry last Saturday but no lightning was reported on
the ground, says atmospheric scientist Walter Lyons, of FMA Research Inc.
in Fort Collins, Colo.
· Density shears are patches of thicker-than-expected air that can
increase the shuttle's roll and pull on one wing. On a Columbia mission in
1992 and an Endeavor mission in 1993, hitting such patches forced them to
use up its fuel for the thrusters that help keep it on course during re-entry.
· Blue jets are upward lightning strikes. In 1998, Lyons and a team
of scientists reported one that was sparked by a meteor. "The safety
implications are just a gaping hole in our knowledge," he says.
As the space shuttle streaks through the upper atmosphere, it leaves a wake
in the air just as a boat leaves a wake behind it in the water. The
shuttle's wake becomes electrified. Lyons says some scientists are
speculating that its electrified wake acted as an antenna and drew a blue
jet to the Columbia.
NASA and the Air Force have been losing interest in studying the uppermost
atmosphere. Meanwhile, Lyons says scientists are still discovering
unexplained phenomenon. "We're nickel-and-diming to do our research," he
says. "And there is all sorts of electrical foolishness going on up there
that we still don't know anything about."

SO WHAT is it about that last report that is so bothersome? It's when
NASA began its investigation; less than two months before Columbia took
off. This is known as establishing an alibi.
The next reporter implies that NASA's plan to shut down the Shuttle program
and its release of the ignorosphere report just prior to the loss of the
Columbia was not accidental:

Sound like breaking news? Well, it is at least two months old. ECTV
reported on this event in late November 2002. Could
this be a coincidence? I sure hope so, because if it is not, it was at the
coast of seven innocent people who died, and
countless others who have been betrayed.
This whole incident is beginning to stink. I found it very interesting how
many times Sean O'Keefe, head administrator of
Nasa stated "it is import for us (nasa) to keep the trust of the American
people". Now I am not quite sure who he is trying to
convince, the public, or the vast Nasa staff, contractors and consultants.
Once again, only time will tell.
Here is the first ECTV article posted which has the tale tell signs of what
was to happen to the Space Station and the Shuttle missions:

Never, ever have I received as much response in 36 hours to any piece
I've written. Numerous people suggested that I should stay away from the
Shuttle because it will kill my credibility about Rabin. Other writers,
including two police officers from Texas, offered plausible scenarios that
I should consider. One said the flying foam insulation knocked out the
craft's auxiliary power box, the other, that it caused a tire to blow up,
triggering the disaster.
My feeling is that foam insulation would not do either. That the left
wing's problems were coincident to the tragedy, not the cause of it. My
logic works like this:
The temperature of the wing rose 60 degrees F in 5 minutes. We were
told the temperature surrounding the craft was 3000 degrees F. So what's 60
degrees relatively? There was also drag on the wing which was corrected by
the flight computers. These are not convincing reasons for the total
destruction of the craft.
My central doubt concerns the huge boom that thousands heard and
felt. Where did it come from?
A sonic boom from 40 miles altitude? From debris, none bigger than a
compact car and most very much smaller? Houses, even barns shook when
Columbia exploded. From what?
I will say no more. Here are just some of the comments, quotations
and sites sent to me in a day and a half. Please notice the inquiring minds
of my readers. Then, notice also, that many are military officers, police
personnel, engineers, doctors and journalists.
Without them, I wouldn't be able to understand how the world works,
inasmuch as anyone possibly can. The following is my unedited
correspondence in response to my suspicions that we are not getting the
facts about the Columbia tragedy the way free people should be.
The Boom
Barry,
I'm not sure why I am writing to you about this. If it is inappropriate in
any way please forgive me. It's about 10:45AM. The space shuttle Columbia
blew up somewhere in the skies above where I live. I heard it happen,
though at the time I didn't know what it was. I was sitting where I am now
when I heard and felt either a tremendous sonic boom from when the Columbia
re-entered the atmosphere or the explosion. When it happened I thought one
of my 3 roommates had left the house in some sort of dramatic rage,
slamming the front door using all of their strength. It happens. And
whenever it does happen the house slightly shakes. Looking back, the "boom"
was way too loud and the house shook much more than is usually caused by
the standard door slammings. It felt more like a very heavy object - maybe
refridgerator-like in size and weight - had been knocked over in the center
of the house.

I was waiting for this email. I knew someone other than me had to believe
it was sabotage. I am 99% certain that it was.
I produce a radio show for young people on Saturday afternoons, and I had
several of our youngsters out and about in the Dallas area interviewing
eyewitnesses. At least 35 unconnected people said they heard the shuttle
explode - so loud that it shook houses - and then saw it descend.

There were reports of an explosion to local law enforcement officials all
over Texas.
Witnesses said they heard a "big bang" at approximately 9:00 a.m. Eastern
and windows shook in buildings.
"I watched the shuttle blow up while it came over Texas," witness Daniel
Lee Schinzing told WorldNetDaily. "My family was outside watching it come
over and pieces started coming from it!"

you lived with a railroad in your backyard."
Andrea Robinson, a housewife in Dallas, had promised her children that she
would get them up in time to watch the Shuttle fly overhead, after a local
media campaign for schoolchildren to pay more attention to the regular
space flights - this was the 113th in 22 years.
She told The Telegraph: "I knew it was going overhead soon and I was just
lying in bed thinking I had better get my daughter up.
"All of a sudden my house started to shake and there was this huge noise
and my daughter ran into the bedroom. We went outside and we could see this
big trail of smoke coming down; it was very very wide.
"I thought, well, that looks strange, they didn't tell us it was supposed
to look like that. Then I heard my phone ringing and I went in and it was
my neighbour telling me to turn on the television, the Shuttle had blown
up. We are all in shock."
Bob Multer of Palestine, 110 miles south-east of Dallas, said that the
noise "was very similar to a tornado, it was very loud and intense - loud
enough and low enough that it shook the building.
"As soon as it started I shot out of my house because the windows were
rattling. I looked up at the sky and a very large zigzagging smoke plume
was going south-east. It was huge. Much bigger than it looked on the TV
screen on the news.
"I timed it and it took a minute-and-a-half to pass. I just stood there
because I couldn't really believe what was happening."
Benjamin Laster of Kemp, Texas, said: "The barn started shaking and we ran
out and started looking around. I saw a puff of vapour and smoke and saw
big chunk of material fall."

Booms? Sonic booms? Sound of explosion? The aircraft was 38 miles high so
the sound would take at least 200 seconds to get from the explosion to the
witnesses' ears. Meanwhile the thing is moving a six times the speed of
sound so by the time we hear the boom, the wreckage is somewhere else.

The Lights
There was one report, I heard it only once, that a military satellite
monitoring the shuttle picked up three flashes of light hitting the shuttle
and then kaboom. There are allegedly no weapons fast enough to hit a
shuttle moving at that speed. But lasers travel faster than missles and
knowing now that a number of American weapons systems security codes have
been compromised and have found their way into very unfriendly hands, who
knows if one of our own weapons systems was somehow compromised and used .

Bright flashes photographed near shuttle
Astronomer catches 'electrical phenomena' near Columbia's track
An astronomer who regularly photographs space shuttles when they pass over
the San Francisco Bay area has captured five "strange and provocative
images" of Columbia as it was re-entering the atmosphere.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports the images "appear to be bright
electrical phenomena flashing around the track of the shuttle's passage."
"They clearly record an electrical discharge like a lightning bolt flashing
past, and I was snapping the pictures almost exactly ... when the Columbia
may have begun breaking up during re-entry," the photographer, who asked
not to be identified, told the Chronicle.
The photos were snapped with a Nikon 8 camera using a tripod.
Though he's not making the pictures public immediately, he invited the
newspaper to view the images on his home computer this weekend.
David Perlman, science editor for the San Francisco Chronicle, calls the
photos "indeed puzzling."
"They show a bright scraggly flash of orange light, tinged with pale
purple, and shaped somewhat like a deformed L," Perlman writes. "The flash
appears to cross the Columbia's dim contrail, and at that precise point,
the contrail abruptly brightens and appears thicker and somewhat twisted as
if it were wobbling."
"I couldn't see the discharge with own eyes, but it showed up clear and
bright on the film when I developed it," the photographer said. "But I'm
not going to speculate about what it might be."
Meanwhile, an Australian astronomer working in California says he saw what
could be tiles falling off the Columbia as it flew over the Golden State.
"After the first few flashes I thought to myself that I knew the shuttle
lost tiles as it re-entered and quite possibly that was what was going on,"
Anthony Beasley told ABC News.
Beasley was north of Los Angeles when he made his report, indicating the
shuttle possibly began to disintegrate above California.
If Beasley is correct, it indicates the shuttle began to disintegrate on
the west coast above California.
The Australian reported how the astronomer witnessed "a couple of flashes"
and "things clearly trailing" Columbia.
"I think that after the particularly bright event I started to wonder
whether or not things were happening how they should," Beasley said.
Space experts said tiles falling off the shuttle would be too small to be
detected by NASA radar.
"It leads in the direction that tile loss or some type of structural loss
like that was likely to be a cause," former shuttle astronaut Norm Thagard
told ABC. "But it still doesn't rule out other possibilities."

Fox 11 news out of Los Angeles reported Saturday night
at 11:00 PM eastern that a photographer had been up on
his roof Saturday morning taking pics of the sky when
he saw the Columbia and took a picture of it. They
explained on the news show as well as showed the
picture. They said and showed that there were to jet
streams...one coming down and the other coming up from
the ground. According to the LA times Sunday edition
front page the problem began at 7:53 AM...that was
exactly the time it was over LA. Thought you might
want to check it out.

I watched Larry King on CNN,as he interviewd eye-witnesses.
The first person who called the Hoston Airforce--a eye witness pilot,
stated that no way could the spaceship travel the 200.000 feet as
reported, as the contrails were visible, which is not possible over 50
Thousand feet.
A Astronaut from the 70s disagreed, but ther pilots reaffirmed the first
pilots (David Neal's) remarks.

Guesses
A laser EMP beam could easily cause an explosion. It is not true that
Columbia was too high above ground to be hit from the earth. I think that
60 miles is a piece of cake for an EMP weapon. But the question is: Who has
got it? Right. The US of A. Weird? I dunno.
To admit - or even hint at sabotage (terrorism) is not very smart, but a
flat denial is pure stupidity. NASA knows or suspects what went on - that
is for sure.

Right after Shabbat I found out about this and my thoughts wre the same as
yours. All my friends thought I was crazy till I pointed out the first
failure had a Jew and the Palestine TX thing was just to much. That
explosion was my clue also. Aftr all, the US had admitted back a few months

city. To top it off, there are also weapons using EMP/directed energy that
could do the job. Now most folks think those are still comic book weapons,
but not so.
I am an engineer, although not a space type but a mechanical type, and I
agree with you on the explosions could not have been from engine failure at
reentry. I am also a retired military officer and trained to think outside
the norm/average mundane stuff which is why I knew right away that it was

Thanks for the information. Like everyone else, I'm trying to gather
information on the shuttle disaster, and also just having to wait to see
what anomalies turn out to be certain. Then one has to look at those
anomalies very hard (and usually pretty long!).
I really don't know at this point what it was, so am keeping all scenarios
open. Certainly the shuttle was old and they did have a tile problem. But
again, whether this was sufficient to produce the phenomenology still
remains to be seen.
Also, I was very happy to see the tone of the news media and our leaders in
recognizing the grief of the families. That I think was very important; it
shows that we still are a caring nation.
I do hope they also do some radioactivity tests and others (test for
longitudinal EM wave radiation, which can be done with a Geiger tube), etc.
If longitudinal EM wave emissions from the fragments are found, that is a
100% certain signature. If anomalous isotopes of Aluminum are found, that
also is a 100% certain signature. If not, then one has to sort out (or try
to) all the other phenomena etc.

Houston, rather than the other way around...at least this is what someone
watching Ch 2 heard very distinctly. Is this a fact?

requested through a friend of mine, that you be good enough to contact him
so that a discussion can be initiated with regards to Richard's findings of
a Nazi presence at the highest levels of NASA. It is clear to many of us

Here is my problem, and it has been my problem since the first hour.
1. First story says that breakup had to have started between my house(West
of Lubbock) and NORTH TEXAS, North of Dallas. All of the eyewitness
accounts are from North Texas and debris is reportedly immediately spotted
in PLANO (North of Dallas). I said, "THIS CANNOT BE, the debris should be
in Louisiana".
2. Then it is reported that debris is reported as far south as Palestine
and Lufkin, which means if the first stories are true - debris should be
ALL OVER the DFW Metroplex which is HUGE and covers almost 2 hours driving
time.
3. New stories have the flight path going way SOUTH of Dallas, with breakup
starting just before Dallas and the debris field as widespread as Arkansas
to just north of the Houston area.
4. This radar imagery clearly shows the breakup happening over LOUISIANA
(below Shreveport) which is what I said from the first minute. Now, vast
areas of the forests of South East Texas are being swarmed over with Feds,
Forest Service and National Guard.
Now, the flight path, speed, etc. is NOT adding up. Why was the Shuttle
still moving so fast? Why was it still 40 miles up? Now it is supposedly 16
minutes from the Cape, but at it's speed it would have been there in under
5 minutes! No time for slowing "S-curves" etc.

Barry, not the "D-orbit burn", rather the "de-orbit burn", i.e., the burn
to slow the craft down from orbital velocity and drop out of orbit and
spiral down the gravity well to the landing at Cape Canaveral.
But the de-orbit burn should happen about 45 minutes before actual landing.
It would not make any sense to do that once the craft has reentered the
upper atmosphere. Also, if the de-orbit burn is done too soon, or too late,
the craft can potentially strike the atmosphere at the wrong angle, thereby
dooming the reentry to catastrophic failure. Did that happen here?
Moreover, they dump excess fuel before reentry. Plenty of unanswered and
unasked questions in this spectacular crash.

I accidently caught the news on satellite (Fox channel) here, switched on as
the shuttle was coming in, and within minutes the whole scenario changed as
communications were lost. I also accidently watched the takeoff on the
16th. I say accidently, as it isn't big news here, and I just happened to
turn on the tv at the right times!
I heard the Mission Control statement of "you're going to be surprised" etc.
At the time the news channel was tuned in live to mission control without
any edit.
It was explained too at the time, that the shuttle was on computer command
from mission control still, and that it was minutes away from switching
command to the pilot of the shuttle. This was before any idea there was a
problem.
If this is the case, and no power was on at the time, why has an attack been
ruled out? All of us know that computer messages can be played with and
altered, coding scrambled etc. The exact message from NASA at the time was
that an attack "from the ground" did not occur. Well that could be correct
in the traditional sense of attack, but not in the technological sense.

I'm pretty sure the comments about being surprised that the Deorbit burn
was starting occurred ~ 40 minutes before the break up, and somewhere over
the Indian Ocean. The weather was an issue at the landing site (Fog on the
field) in Florida, and they didnt get the "go" until the last minute for
the Deorbit (actually deorbit) burn which starts the descent out of orbit.
You can check on the British site www.spaceflightnow.com. It's the lead
article and when you go to it, they have the entire timeline, and
communication log, and I read that line about the D-orbit burn, early on. I
can't imagine why the reporter would have heard it at the time of the loss
of communication. The engines were off. They were way past removal from
orbit. Could he be mistaken in the worry of the moment? Could it have been
a replay of the earlier communication? It wouldn't at all be a coverup
statement to the crew or anybody.

Shuttle was supposed to land in Florida at 9:15 eastern time. That means
the Shuttle would have been over Louisiana 1.5 minutes after the breakup
began, which means most of the debris should have landed in Louisiana, not
in Texas.
The debris is being found over North Texas. How is this possible when the
plane was traveling 12,500 mph when it BEGAN it's breakup over North Texas?
Did the debris fall straight down?
The Israeli pilot on board is one of the pilots who bombed the Iraqi

This is just a question:
The Shuttle was traveling 12,500 mph over the Dallas area when the visible
breakup occured. How does a vehicle traveling at that speed take 15 minutes
to slow down to landing speed, when they would have been over Florida in
about 6 minutes? I have never considered this before, but I thought the
re-entry took a more steady and gradual glide-path. Am I being told that
this plane enters the atmosphere at 50 miles, and only 6 minutes from its
target it is still at 40 miles altitude and travelling at 12,500 mph? How
can that be? Does anyone know anything about this?

slightly south. The debris field should be in Louisiana and not in south

The host asked him if he had called emergency personnel and he said NO.
They immediately took him off the air. At first they said the debris would
be HOT, but not chemically or nuclearly dangerous. Now, some "expert" said
that no one should even touch the debris because it had "hydrozine" on it
and "it will kill you". Give me a break.
Everyone sees the debris flying to the east southeast. To find debris in
Palestine, Texas HUNDREDS of miles to the direct south doesn't make sense.

I often do not agree with you however, on this one we are of one mind. As
soon as I heard that Ramon was one of the astronauts, I was proud but I was
scared. My vibes were bad from the beginning. Yesterday morning when I
heard of the disaster, I declared immediately, They killed him. I don't
know how they did it and probably we will never know whether it was a bomb
placed on board and put on a timer or someone who tampered with the tiles
or the computers, but I know they did and I wrote about it on a newsboard
and to one of my friends immediately.
I always felt that they killed Judy too. There are too many coincidences on
this one--. It happened around 9:11 am EST . and over Palestine, TX. I am
sick over this.

It's M-51, the 1986 Challenger disaster. But no disaster.... There are big
forces in the States that don't want the space program to lift off the
ground. Big big money. All the inquiries NASA will conduct, together with
"federal agencies" will lead to nothing - only to what they want to say.
M-51 in January 1986 was no fiasco but they had to enroll a brilliant,
ailing physicist - Feynemann - to deeply enseed the principle of the O
rubber ring failing. No O ring failed. the boosters CRISS-CROSSED and flew
straight into the main liquid fuel tang to make the big bang.
To undestand the problem, the boosters are so designed to jetison away from
the space shuttle on two axis: lateral away from the main rocket AND away
from the shuttle wings! Photo M51 -1 shows the 2 minor jets firing at 45deg
on the two axes: upward and downward at 45 deg, so no to hit any assembly
on the shuttle (the detached backwards, away from the wings), and INWARDS
at 45 deg so the boosters are pushed away from the remaining rocked.
Futher, the left and right boosters are identified by a black painted ring
near the top - ONLY on the LEFT booster. This is critical to understand. It
aides photography and identification at very high altitude of tens of km.
Black and white are best contrasting colors for camera lens. To see how
Columbia adhered to this procedure, see attached M51-2 and M51-2clsup, both
actually of Columbia STS-107 - our flight. The first is of Columbia rolling
out on its 5m ride to the launching pod, the other a closeup of the
boosters and the black left ring on the launch pod.
A lot of engineering questions remain unanswered on the STS-107 reentry. I
watched it live and knew 10 min before touchdown that they are not coming
home. NASA new it 20min before.
Just note that Apollo 1 - the first disaster with 3 astronauts killed,
happend in January. Challenger 1986, in January. Columbia STS-107 January
(okay, 1 Feb). Pretty close no? All engines, including Columbia's, suffered
hailine cracks and were removed, checked and "repaired". Hiarline cracks
are notoriously difficult to fix, ususally engines are replaced. Mostle the
nozzle area that suffers lots of stress.
Guess this one intended to hit massively on people on the ground as the
approach path covered the entire USA. That people weren't killed by the
debris is a miracle.Worst doomsday scenario when debris fall out of the sky.

Just now on the 7 pm news, Kol Yisrael broadcast that
Hackers broke into the NASA website and put up materials denouncing the
upcoming attack on Iraq.
Perhaps there were some other enemies of NASA who brought down the Columbia?

You know what? Something is not sitting right in my gut with this tragedy
of the Colombia Space Shuttle.
While I was on-line today from 6am (eastern) I had no problem with my
computer. Now do not think I am nuts, but around 9am (eastern) my computer
was going crazy. First I could not e-mail, then different windows kept
opening and closing. I called my Internet Provider to see what was the
problem and he was going to look into it. Now that specific time the space
shuttle lost contact, and everything is run by computers right? Also how
ironic is it that the Israeli Astronaut, a historic first, just happened to
be the pilot leading the bombing of the Iraqi nuclear plants back in 1981?
I do not know, but my gut says something else, and I feel very uneasy about
this!
Please do not think I am nuts!

The excuse will be a piece of foam insulation that broke off the fuel tank
and struck the left wing of the aircraft. Now that wing is a pretty hefty
thing, designed to take pretty severe G-forces. A dent or so would not
matter in my humble, uneducated opinion. If the foam damaged the control
surfaces, well, these are used on takeoff as well to steer and stabilize the
trajectory so we would have known about that! But an uninvestigated mishap
could conceivably have destroyed the Columbia on the stress of reentry and
descent so we have it. (And the German astronaut that flew a few years back
said publicly that there should have been a spacewalk to inspect the wing
and a loudmouthed French astronaut that also flew her said they should have
junked the Columbia before now--I guess foreigners will no longer be
welcomed on NASA flights).
Most plausable explanation would be loss of stable attitude at mach-6.
Damaged control surface? Pilot-error -- does not wash with NASA! Errant
command from the ground? Errant?
What about the con-trails the were captioned in every picture released?
Con-densation-trails are caused by the water in jet-engine exhaust. But the
engine was not running and the fuel was either used out or jettisoned before
reentry. The shuttle dead-sticks down. Highly explosive hydrozene was around
in the positioning jets in small quantity. If these were being fired
(unlikely after reentry), they get used momentarily--not enough for a
con-trail and not enough to blow the thing up.

February 1, 2003 - ONE THING WE AREN'T BEING TOLD ABOUT THE COLUMBIA EXPLOSION
So the Space Shuttle on its 113th mission, carrying Israel's first
astronaut, explodes on the Sabbath over Palestine, Texas. Too unbelievable
to be accidental, right? Well, maybe it isn't. We will return.
I had prepared my usual report from Israel and it was chock full of
powerful eye-witness evidence. It was that sort of week. Now who will give
a hoot about last week's news? So let's summarize what I won't report in
depth and get it over with.
* We were going to start by asking why, if two/thirds of Israel's
Jewish voters chose parties from the Right, is it that Sharon is forming a
coalition with the Left, guaranteeing that Peres will be back in the
cabinet? And our conclusion was, obviously, that the voters wasted their
time voting.
* Then we were going to present eye-witnesses that the Green Leaf
Party, which all polls showed winning 2-4 seats, lost because of mass
ballot destruction. And something similar took place to Herut, before the
vote counting began.
* Like mother, like daughter. Dahlia Pelosoff Rabin is sick with
cancer and not telling anyone. A close friend of hers contacted me with the
information.
* My last article included an interview with an associate of Rabin's
personal bodyguard, who was called away for an overseas assignment a week
before the assassination. I was told, "You got that story right. What you
missed is he wasn't the only one called away on the night of the rally.
Practically the whole Shabak protection unit was called to a gathering in
Mishmar Hashiva that evening when we should have been on duty."
Back to NASA, once again an acronym for Need Another Seven Astronauts.
Obviously, it's too early to make a claim for sabotage, but there are some
signs to look for and one powerful piece of evidence unknown outside Israel.
The easy way out is to observe that just when an Israeli is on board,
the shuttle disintegrates. Two of the 113 shuttle flights ended in
disaster, so Ilan Ramon, we calculate after the fact, had a 1 in 56.5
chance of not returning or a 1 in 112 chance before boarding. These are
high but not unlikely odds. That there were Jewish astronauts on both
shuttle disasters, (a distant relative of mine, Judy Resnick died in the
1986 conflagration), is entirely explainable by coincidence.
So let's increase the chances of improbability by noting that Ramon
was in the Air Force squadron which bombed the Iraqi nuclear reactor in
1982, and he was on the craft on the eve of an American invasion of Iraq.
There are several thousand Israeli Air Force pilots who weren't on the
Iraqi mission, so Ramon's choice as the country's astronaut may not have
been entirely coincidental. The Columbia explosion has the grand potential
of rallying Americans against Iraq either way. Sabotage would be fine for
that purpose but the images of rejoicing in Baghdad are useful as well.
THEN, that the first explosion reported was over Palestine, Texas gets
a bit spooky already. Which brings us to a peculiar NASA reaction. The
space agency initially insisted that no explosion was heard from the
Shuttle by anyone . What people thought was an explosion was actually
debris hitting the ground.
A few hours of TV watching proved that to be untrue. All kinds of
witnesses saw the vapor trail and heard the explosion. They included a
Texas senator and ordinary people like Randy Hendricks and Kim
Dornak-Anderson, both interviewed on Fox News. Yet NASA continued to insist
the Shuttle broke up, not exploded. The final proof of this false
contention came from the Shreveport, Louisiana weather station, which taped
the explosion on its radar screen.
So why was NASA denying that there was an explosion? The only answer
anyone should come up with is that an explosion means possible sabotage.
There is another reason not to dismiss that option; the reaction of the
astronauts themselves. The last radio transmission proves that the crew
didn't suspect anything was wrong. Then came the end of transmission,
suddenly. There was not a moment of fire or smoke within the cabin. No one
saw a wing in jeopardy. No one felt a sudden jolt. And those are the
telltale human signs of an immediate and highly traumatic blast.
I'm not an aeronautical engineer and I'm sure there are lots of
reasons why the Columbia could have exploded. However, I know that no
engines were ignited because the ship was in a gliding mode. So, with no
motors running and no fuel being sparked, what precisely exploded the whole
ship in one gigantic blast?
Which leads me to one concrete piece of evidence that should be very
closely examined. The Israeli TV Channel Two, had a reporter and crew
inside the NASA Control Center. Ilan Ramon's landing was being carried live
from a number of sites and Channel Two's reporter was in the right place to
hear the REAL last transmissions from Columbia. And they are not even close
to what the rest of the world is being told.
According to the reporter, one NASA message to the crew was most
significant. A few moments before the end, NASA broadcast the following
message. Now there is some Hebrew translation involved, so there are going
to be some differences in the actual message; But the Channel Two reporter
heard, "Rick, you're going to be surprised. We're starting the D-Orbit burn
now."
The reporter wisely asked why the commander of the mission was going
to be surprised and concluded that the message could lead in all kinds of
suspicious directions. It was the only blatant talk of alternative
suspicion that I heard all night. I waited for hours through five TV
networks and not once did I hear this conversation. All I heard was a
warning about tire pressure, an acknowledgement, then nothing.
But something very odd preceded the final words NASA agreed to
release. And it IS a reason not to dismiss sabotage. And that may go a ways
to explaining why the Homeland Security division of FEMA was placed in
charge of collecting debris, backed by a beaut of a scare campaign for what
will become of all who hold on to Shuttle souvenirs.
Now for me, here's the clincher. NASA stressed that it had no idea
what caused the tragedy and even noted that they may never know. However,
they have totally discarded terrorism as a cause of the "accident."
So, if NASA doesn't know what caused the disaster and may never know,
how exactly do they know with such concrete certainty that it wasn't sabotage?
