(Many of the following concepts will be unfamiliar to those who have not been following my research steadily. It is the author's contention that Spain is playing a central, though covert, role in Middle East diplomacy, believing it has a God-given, if Medieval, right to rule Israel and especially Jerusalem. The Spanish people are clamoring to know who was responsible for the March '04
bombings which killed over 200 of their people. They will not receive a true answer. They will be told Al Qaida did the deed in retaliation for Spain's support of the Iraq invasion and will display some Moslem bombers as proof.
The more conspiratorial analyses places the blame on the Bush/Blair New World Order gang who fomented another atrocity to justify their war on terror and give a boost
to its flagging popularity. All such proponents point to the conveniently found van with the Koranic audiotape beside the unignited bombs as a set-up, like the 9-11 van with the Koran and 767 flight manual found in Boston.
The Spanish government lied to its people, claiming ETA, the Basque separatists,
were the main suspects and were thrown out of power in national elections a few days later,
which seemed to be a motive for the outrage in the first place.
The lie was formulated to keep the public off the real trail of the bombings, which leads to
Spain's secret role in the Middle East, as well as its goal of eliminating Israel by shoving a suicidal "peace" process down its throat. The leaders of the Middle East know Spain controls their fate, and that all diplomatic roads pass through Madrid.
But the rest of humanity remains ignorant of Spain's covert power. Let us try and clear the fog with the events that led to the slaughter in Madrid as seen through the media. My commentary will begin and end with two stars **.
We begin the journey that led to the bombings on Aug. 18 '03. On that day, the PA prime minister Abbas, and his foreign minister Shaat, announced they would be visiting Damascus on September 8. The announcement was made as Spain's Foreign Minister is in Damascus announcing that his king will be visiting Syria that autumn.
So, the story begins as the PA, Syria and King Juan Carlos plot to coordinate diplomacy.

Abbas to meet with al-Assad in Syria in September

Palestinian foreign affairs minister Nabil Shaath said that the Palestinian prime minister Mahmoud Abbas will visit Damascus in September.
Shaath explained following his talks with the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara in Damascus that the Palestinian leadership wants to deepen consultation and coordination with each of Syria and Lebanon concerning the peace process in the region.

Spain's King to visit Syria
Spain's economy minister announces King Juan Carlos, Queen Sofia are to visit Syria in autumn.
DAMASCUS - King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain are to visit Syria in the autumn, Spanish Economy Minister Rodrigo Rato said here Monday.
Rato told a news conference that he had informed Syrian President Bashar al-Assad of the visit.
Assad and his wife Asma paid an official visit to Spain in May 2001 - the couple's first to a Western country after Assad took power in July 2000.
Rato, who arrived in Damascus Sunday night, said his own visit also aimed to "strengthen economic relations" between the two countries, particularly in the tourism, transport and industry sectors.
He said Spain supports Syria "economically and politically", adding that Damascus is important in the quest for peace in the Middle East.
Spain also supports talks to broker a partnership agreement between Syria and the European Union, the minister said.
A Syrian-Spanish accord giving Damascus five million dollars was signed Monday, Rato added.
** Now why would Spain commit itself to pushing for a Syrian partnership agreement with the EU? What could Syria offer the EU but some canned dates and its fine human rights record? Note the $5 million bribe to Assad and ask what was behind it. The PA's prime minister lands in Damascus on September 8 and look at the reaction on September 9. **

Spanish Foreign Minister Says Israeli Threat To Expel Arafat Is A Big Mistake
....."We (the Spanish government) have always said that Arafat has been part of the solution and the decision by the Israeli government (to expel him) is a big mistake," she told reporters.
...Palacio spoke at a joint press conference with Syrian counterpart Farouk al-Sharaa after arriving in Damascus on the first leg of a three-nation tour, which includes Iraq and Kuwait.
...Palacio said her talks with al-Sharaa focused on Israel's threat to expel Arafat, plus Iraq.
...She said Syria and Spain shared some basic principles, including the role some regional players could have in Iraq's reconstruction and returning that country to its rightful place in the international community.
Al-Sharaa said Syria and Spain have identical views on Iraq, including the maintenance of its integrity and "getting rid of the foreign occupation as soon as possible."
He said both states also believed in the formation of a legitimate Iraqi government elected by Iraqi people.
** The PA prime minister has just left and a day later Spain's Foreign Minister announced that he will be meeting with Colin Powell of the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR). And where was the announcement made but in Damascus? But look what else is in the Spanish FM's repartee. First comes the defence of Arafat against Israeli threats to expel him for his direction of terror against their country. Then come what have to be huge lies. Do Spain and Syria really hold "identical views" on Iraq? Is Spain really in favor of "getting rid of the foreign occupation" or its American and British partners, in Iraq?
Or was Spain threatened by Syria with terrifying violence?
When Palacio met Powell did he pass on the message that if American troops don't get out of Iraq, Syria would pulverize us at home? He most certainly did, but since the troops are still there, Powell obviously didn't pay heed, or care.
However, Powell and his CFR backers must have given Spain still another assignment...Libya. **

Spanish PM makes historic Libya visit
A Spanish government source said Aznar's ground-breaking trip was aimed at helping bring Libya back into the international fold.
Spain would like to see Libya play a bigger role in the partnership between the 15-nation European Union and 12 Mediterranean countries. Libya has observer status in the grouping at present.
** And now we know who was behind Libya renouncing its weapons of mass destruction. Little old Spain must have carried one nasty message to persuade Libya to return to the fold. And in the process, Spain must have angered not a few of Libya's terrorist allies.
Now we step forward to October 4 when Maxim's Restaurant was bombed in Haifa, killing 22, including members of one of Israel's most prestigious military families. Israel reacts by bombing empty warehouses in Syria.
But note Syria's reaction to the futile attack on its soil. It threatens to re-open the MADRID conference of 1991, a very peculiar threat indeed and one which must have meant something to those in the know in Israel.
Spain, apparently got the message, condemned Israel's attack and stepped up Juan Carlos' visit to Damascus. **

Spanish king meets Syrian leader in Damascus
....Madrid condemned Israel's raid on a suspected militant Palestinian training camp near Damascus on October 5 - the first such attack in 30 years and one which Washington regarded as self-defence.
The English-language government daily, Syria Times, hailed the royal visit as "an important event" that will "rectify the holes in the relations between the Arabs and the West" and "play a significant role in the dialogue between Islam and Christianity".
Talks will redress the "many misunderstanding in the West about Syria's attitudes towards Iraq and Palestinian resistance," the paper added.
Spanish diplomats say the trip is intended to foster "intensified political dialogue" between Damascus, Madrid and the European Union.
For the past six years, Syria has been negotiating a partnership accord with Brussels due to be signed at the end of 2003, after Assad ordered discussions to be stepped up a gear.

At the invitation of President Bashar al-Assad and his Wife, King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia of Spain pay an official visit to Syria during the period from 19 to 23 of the current month.
** And now Juan Carlos is in Damascus and the fun begins. We have already observed that the Syrians are doing their best to drive a wedge between Spain and America, or more precisely, the CFR.
Now observe the machinations. While Juan Carlos is in Damascus, Yossi Beilin is in Geneva formulating an alternative diplomacy which gives the Arabs all they want. Once the ink is on the paper, Beilin flies to Washington to meet with Powell. A concerted effort is being made to appease the Arabs at the cost of Israel's basic security.
However,,Spain offers Syria the ultimate appeasement; a renewed Syrian empire if it behaves itself. **
.....al-Assad visits Spain to inaugurate the role of the Umayyads with KJC and other officials.....two days later PJP visits Syria to visit the Umayyad Temple and call for inter-faith dialogue. Interesting the way visits go.......KJC visits Spain Oct. 19 just after the Geneva Accord is announced but just before it is signed in Geneva on Nov. 4th.

President Bashar al-Assad, in a speech opening the Fair of "From Damascus to Cordova" during a visit he paid with the First lady to Spain, said " the Arab civilization in Andalusia was an important era marked with accord, tolerance, social and intellectual richness among different peoples. That era transferred the civilization from Shami-Andalusia to Arab-Andalusia, creating a sort of civilization merger that it was impossible to attain without the dialogue among civilizations".
Syria has always sought as a strategic aim for dialogue, not conflict, among civilizations, and has always called for fostering meeting points among cultures of different peoples, for the creation of a civilized, harmonious mixture that takes humanity to higher levels.
From this point of view, Syria looks for the forthcoming visit of His Majesty King of Spain Juan Carlos and Her Majesty Queen Sofia, and warmly welcomes their Majesties The Royal Couple in Damascus, capital of the Omayads who were the first to establish and deepen the dialogue of civilizations when they set for Europe and the world through Andalusia to spread their message of tolerance. They also carried with them the latest digest of human thinking in various fields of knowledge, assisted by the fertile land in Andalusia, for long the settling point for different ancient civilizations. That climate led to a unique state of interaction and communication among civilizations in the Omayad-Andalusia epoch, and became an example for the whole world. Cordova at that time attracted Europe as a source of new knowledge in philosophy, arts, architecture, poetry and literatures.
We also pin great hopes on this visit for strengthening existing relations of cooperation between Syria and Spain, and through her with the European countries to further deepen a constructive dialogue and the establishment of a real partnership based on reciprocal respect, equity and mutual benefit. Accusations mar London talks; Israeli-PA forum in Madrid

Madrid: International forum seeking a solution to the Israel-Palestinian problem
Meanwhile, Israeli Knesset members and Palestinian administration officials are meeting in Madrid as guests of an international forum seeking a solution to the Israel-Palestinian problem, Israel Radio reported Friday.
Among the guests are also ex-US ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk, ex-EU special envoy Miguel Morratinos, ex-Jordanian foreign minister Abdullah Hativ and Spanish government officials.
Israeli delegates include MK Gideon Sa'ar (Likud, MKs Dalia Itzik and Danny Yatom (Labor) and MK Ahmed Tibi (Balad). Mohammed Dahlan and Nabil Sha'at are representing the Palestinian side.
** Now how do you like that? Look who's meeting in MADRID just a month after Juan Carlos'
sojourn in Damascus? Why its the creme de la creme of the Israeli government and parliamentary opposition, the head tyrants of the PA, the one and only Martin Indyk of Oslo fame, all meeting Spanish officials. Now what makes MADRID such a magnet for these NWO bigshots?

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The United States is seeking to engage European allies in President Bush's drive for democracy in the greater Middle East, partly to heal the rifts of the Iraq war.
U.S. officials say involving Europeans through both NATO and the European Union in the initiative launched by Bush late last year is one of the administration's top priorities for 2004.
Bush is expected to give more pointers to his approach in his State of the Union message to Congress Tuesday.
"We are looking at ways to work better together with the EU on the greater Middle East, in security, economically and in promoting democracy and human rights, as we did in the Cold War toward Eastern Europe," a U.S. official in Brussels said.
He said Washington wanted to build on the EU's existing Euro-Mediterranean dialogue -- known as the Barcelona process -- which offers North African and East Mediterranean partner states trade and aid benefits in return for economic and political cooperation and reform.

Mubarak's Madrid visit to focus on Euro-Mediterranean cooperation

"President Hosni Mubarak's itinerary of the visit to begin on May 29 includes three separate meetings with King Juan Carlos, in addition to expanded session of talks with Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar and the speakers of the Congress of Deputies and the Senate," he said.
"The issue of Euro-Mediterranean partnership is expected to top the agenda of talks with Spanish officials, specifically on the activation of the Barcelona process, and the Middle East peace process started in Madrid and bilateral relations," he said.
Ambassador Haridi stressed the importance of activating the Barcelona process during President Mubarak's visit to Spain.
"The EU will expand in the near future and European states will be busy trying to acclimatize themselves with this expansion," he said.
"It is this pre-occupation with how to correspond to and face these new changes that raise fears among south-of-the Mediterranean states," he added.
Will Europe's interest in Euro-Mediterranean partnership and the Barcelona process subside?, he questioned.
"Spain is the European country to activate the Barcelona process and to set aside fears arising in this respect, given its geographic proximity to the Arab world and its exceptional relationship with Egypt in particular and Arab countries in general," Ambassador Haridi told MENA.
"Spain presented the Mediterranean initiative to the European union to unite all European policies in one that all states must follow," he said.
** So Spain has chosen itself, or has been chosen, to unite the warring factions of this simmering World War III. It plays the role of the Jesuit mediator between all the factions: Islam versus the EU, Vatican, Bilderberg, CFR, or to simplify matters, Europe and America. However it may try to fool Islam, its sympathies lie with what is known as the West. And Islam is getting madder and madder. All the bones thrown at it are not calming the wolf.
And the Islamic wolf is clearly catching on to the deeper game. Now we reach one of the most significant acts which preceded the Madrid bombing, that somehow was left unconnected to the upcoming carnage.
Two days before the Madrid mass murder, a Masonic Lodge was bombed to rubble in Istanbul. This was not a coincidence, it was a message. And one can be certain, the real power brokers got it.
One of the points of the so-called illumination that Pres. Bush referred to was the Sabbatean movement. Founded by followers of the false Jewish messiah, Shabtai Tzvi in the 1660s by the Donmeh cult of Turkey, this anti-Jewish cult determined to upend humanity's morality, and found a home in the lodges of Turkish Freemasonry. ** The Islamic rulers want no part of the New World Order. All the bribes and attractions to Syria are falling on deaf ears. So in comes Vatican agent Shimon Peres to sweeten the deal.
Though the leader of merely the Israeli opposition, Peres will back an Israel mortally weakened, joining a coalition of Arab states in a united World Order led by Europe, led by Spain. And where does this wacky proposal to unite Islam and Europe get its public airing but in MADRID? And where will the agreement be signed, but in Istanbul?**
NATO to upgrade relations with Israel

NATO is seeking to deepen political and military contacts with Israel and a number of Arab states and may invite their representatives to a summit of alliance leaders in June, officials said Thursday.
According to The Associated Press, it was not yet clear at what level these nations would be represented at the June 28 - 29 summit in Istanbul, Turkey.

Speaking at a brief news conference in Toledo with Labor Party Chairman Shimon Peres and Palestinian negotiations minister Saeb Erekat, Palacio said that, "an association of Palestine and Israel" with the EU at "the conclusion of this peace process... is an idea" worth consideration.
"We need to discuss it in the European Union and see how we can integrate it into the peace process," she added. "So, my commitment is to discuss it, to put it before European" institutions.

** And who is the ultimate source behind the Peres sellout of Israel; who lo and behold but the Vatican? Without an ounce of understanding of who is manipulating their nations and cultures, both Israelis and Moslems have rejected the plots of the New World Order. The difference is in style. Israel tries to limit civilian mortality while Islam attempts to increase it for effect.
The inciters of world violence know this difference and exploit it. But subtract the style for now, and reach a common cause: Judaism and Islam are being tricked into slaughtering each other by precisely the same forces. Israel has paid deeply for the hidden war between planetary fascism and now Madrid got a taste of the same medicine Jerusalem has been forced to swallow since Oslo was foisted on it in 1993.

Qorei, who has yet to meet with his Israeli counterpart Ariel Sharon since taking office last autumn, confirmed he hopes the meeting could take place by "the end of this month if the preparation succeed."
Palestinian foreign minister Nabil Shaath said the meeting could take place as early as next week.
"We are determined to pursue the peace process and that is why the meeting will take place around February 20," he said at a joint news conference in Madrid with Spanish Foreign Minister Ana Palacio.
The EU advotes Israel and the Palestinians taking a series of small steps to move the peace process forward, and said such measures should be discussed by the prime ministers at their meeting, said Ahern.
Qorei heads next to Italy, where he will meet late Tuesday with Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, and on Wednesday with President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi and lawmakers.
On Thursday Qorei is due to meet with Pope John Paul II at the Vatican.
** The same forces are at work: the CFR, Jesuit Vatican, and Sabbateans. Spain has chosen itself as the uniter of all these factions with Islam. Islam rejected the offer in Madrid with its own form of heartless evil. And this battle between two evils will continue to engulf the world. Israel is at the forefront of the war, but Madrid offered a foul taste of what's in store for all of us. **

The past few weeks have seen a concerted attack against me from the Jewish Right. It is a planned campaign with a snowball effect. Here are the four forces which entered the fray:
1. Kach
Originally an honest movement of Jewish self-defence established by Rabbi Meir Kahane, it became so infiltrated and manipulated that the Rabbi's son Binyamin founded a counter movement called Kahane Chai which remains, as far as I can tell, untainted.
Kach's major complaint against me is that I have done a pretty thorough job of proving that Baruch Goldstein was framed and did not commit the Hebron massacre of February, 1994. Kach wants Goldstein to be remembered as a mass-murdering hero. And that suits the "peace" camp and the Shabak's Jewish Department just fine. When called upon, this serves the noble task of painting all settlers as bloodthirsty savages.
Kach is very proud of a book called Baruch HaGever, (Baruch The Hero), which portrays Goldstein as a vigilante who shot first to prevent a massacre of Hebron's Jews by the Arabs. Within this book is a touching section written by Shabak inciter Avishai Raviv. You can be darn sure that if this book did not have Shabak sanction, he would have never been permitted inclusion in it.

2. The Free Pollard Organization
If Esther Pollard wasn't planted to guarantee Jonathan Pollard's eternal incarceration, then she needs serious help. Anyone who dares to work individually on Jonathan Pollard's behalf suffers the wrath of her venom, followed by a wave of legal threats. My sin was digging into the Pollard affair without her approval. But I am not alone. Anyone who goes near Pollard travesty suffers the same fate. The latest victim is a renowned filmmaker:

award film producer has been able to get the History Channel to accept a
documentary on Jonathan Pollard. The producer contacted Rabbi ...
(going through appropriate channels) and then he obviously spoke to Esther
Pollard, at which time a flood of heavy duty, don't you dare and lawyer
letters came to the producer. The aim of the producer is to do this documentary in the
hopes that it will blow open the coverup.
3. The "Intellectuals"
There are a couple of minor-league shmendriks like one Gabby Goldwater and an economics teacher from Haifa who are obsessed with me. They do internet searches and contact any site I appear on, slandering me. Another trick they use is is to contact any newsgroup or list I contribute to, offering to join it if my writing is removed. These nobodies are supplied with the "dirt" on me by a much bigger fish; one Daniel Pipes. It is he who intervenes at serious levels. Recently, an influential Beverly Hills figure, made an attempt to convince Fox-TV to do a feature on my Rabin revelations. One on-air personality, Rita Cosby was interested. But Pipes got to her, as the following letter explains:

saying they support Pipes, and since Pipes says you
are a bad guy, in addition to you having a name as a
"conspiratist', they don't want to make a show with
you."
My very reluctant decision to accept an invitation to confront Holocaust deniers at an upcoming convention in Sacramento spurred Pipes to make the following comment on his web site"

Barry Chamish, Holocaust Revisionist? Anyone who troubles to read my review of The Last Days of Israel, a 2001 book by Barry Chamish, will be aware of my contempt for this work. In the review I call Chamish "Israel's foremost conspiracy theorist," disparage his oeuvre as a "barely edited rant with an alarmist title published by an obscure provincial press," fault his "overheated prose, his overstuffed account, and his overgenerous estimate of himself standing at the crux of history," and conclude by finding the book full of "mad-house digressions."
Chamish being no shrinking violet, he returns the compliments, mostly by accusing me of being a member of the dread Council on Foreign Relations (true enough) which he and other bright lights believe runs the world (sure).
Pipes will be speaking at a major conference organized by the voice of the Jews of Judea, Samaria and Gaza, Arutz Sheva, in Jerusalem beginning April 15. To prove what a hypocrite they will be entertaining, I asked my readers to write him asking his real opinion of the issues so important to the audience he will be facing. A few did:
"Dear Mr. Pipes,
Do you believe there should be a Palestinian state in Judea, Samaria and
Gaza? Yes or no. Please don't obfuscate the issue with an answer like, "The
conditions aren't right for a Palestinian state." Just your answer, yes or no.
Awaiting your reply in Jerusalem."
The following two replies from Pipes were relayed to me:
"I believe there should be zero discussion of this topic until the Pal'ns accept Israel. I have written very many times explaining this in full. "
Dr. Pipes:
"I happen to believe that the creation of a so-called Palestinian state in Yehuda, Shomron and Gaza is about the worst thing that could happen to the Jewish People at this moment in history."
In short, Pipes supports the CFR line, meaning he backs a Palestinian state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza as soon as the PA recognizes Israel. And when that day comes, what is his plan?
Once the Palestinians do fully, irrevocably, in deed as well as in word, accept the existence of a Jewish state, all sorts of possibilities for ending the conflict open up.
·Adjusted borders: As Sharon himself recently suggested, the “triangle” area in northern Israel, with its large Arab population, might be up for trading.
·Palestinian sovereignty: Once Palestinians truly accept the Zionist presence, then Jews in the territories could live under Palestinian rule.
There you have the Pipes' plan. You either get the area of Wadi Jara given to the PLO, effectively cutting the coast from the lower Galilee, or the settlers enjoying life under PLO rule. You can be sure that'll be fun for them.
Remarkably, those who invited him to speak in Jerusalem, apparently have no idea what he's got in
store for their lives.

4. British Israel
I saved this group for last since they appear to be marginal. The British Israelites believe the British are a lost Israelite tribe and are ticked at me for pointing out such uncomfortable facts like the British founded a Jewish Home in Israel, reneged on most of the agreement and then banned immigration when millions of lives could have been saved. So angry are they, that they hint I must be a Nazi. Look at this slander:

I never was interviewed by any pro-Nazi magazine, but I did a search of 750 Google and Yahoo sites where I appear. There was a collection of Jewish, Christian and political sites but no such pro-Nazi magazine. But this is the latest line since I agreed to fly to Sacramento.
What the Right don't seem to understand is that, while I will never support any political movement, Left or Right, ever again, I am supporting their agenda because I discovered the Oslo "peace" roadmap, was concocted by the most murderous and amoral crooks ever conceived and they happen to be running the planet into the ground.
The strategy is to divide the opposition and I appear to be gaining ground as a threat to the plans of the "peacemakers." Sowing dissension is a subtle business and nowhere so important as in the case of the Rabin assassination. This is the key to saving Israel because we have all the evidence needed to remove the governing criminals from our midst with one honest trial.
And we had that trial in the palm of our hands. A few years ago Yediot Ahronot committed a deep defamation of the characters of several respected academics and one surgeon, who went on public record as believers that Amir was not the murderer of Rabin and that he was actually assassinated in an internal coup. This was the opening we all had waited for and Yediot Ahronot was sued on their behalf by Nitzana Darshan-Leitner. The suit has gone nowhere and one reader knows why:

Sabbatean Updates
The Sabbatean issue is growing. From my brilliant readers:

In the mid-nineties I had a rare opportunity of translating from German to Hebrew a seventeenth century's personal diary. That personal document had been handed down through generations within a German Jewish family pertaining to the aristocracy of the Jewish community in Germany. The descendents of the lady, who wrote the diary sometime between 1630-1680, were Israelis who did not speak German and were curious to read the translation of the diary.
During the translation I was deeply moved by the vivid impressions written by that Jewish lady. I felt like listening to an interlocutor across a time gap of about 350 years. The most striking impression imparted from the diary was the depth, extent and richness of the Jewish life in Germany, as described in that personal diary. The names of family members, friends, acquaintances, community characters and dignitaries sounded unmistakably Jewish and reminiscent of the familiar Jewish names which were so common in the Jewish Shtetls of Eastern Europe. Jewish folklore, tradition and observance was conveyed from every word, sentence and paragraph of the manuscript, which unequivocally reflected the profound Jewish faith of that generation even among the aristocracy of the German Jewry.
That precious diary visualizes Jewish life in the seventeenth century Germany, a century prior to Jacob Frank. Two centuries later, a century following Frank, the German Jewry metamorphosized and got Germanized beyond recognition. I must admit that the diary moved me to tears. I was the translator but also a witness to thriving Jewish life blessed with virtuousness, sincerity and faith, all gone with the wind. Post-Frankism Jewry in Germany could have never regained its spiritual resources until its destruction.
There is more to Sharon's Gaza pullout than meets the eye. Natan of Gaza was Shabtai Tzvi's Shaul of Tarsus. He spread the word. And on his advice, on June 18, 1666, Shabtai Tzvi declared that he was the messiah of the Jews IN GAZA. Gaza, to the Sabbateans is Jerusalem and the pullout will fulfill a Sabbatean dream of Israel's destruction. It will open a new Egyptian front in the final war against true Judaism.
Last week was Purim and almost all the young girls of secular Israel were costumed as hookers. Even my daughter wore the black net stockings and mini mini-skirt. I asked her what she thought she was dressed as and she replied, "A freak. Everyone is going as one."
How right she was. My city looked like a red light district this Purim. A reader observed the phenomenon and noted that Purim was the chief Sabbatean holiday. On that day they conducted their annual mate-swapping orgy. He wrote that the Sabbateans had perverted the festival and it must revert to its intended form. If not, more drastic measures should be considered.
"Judaism should purge Purim from the Jewish calender.I think I am going to start a campaign against this horrible holiday. It causes terrible damage. It has no theological meaning- yet takes on theological practices. The whole idea of getting drunk on Purim sounds like a vestige of the Sabbateans."
Two readers discovered links to John Kerry's Sabbatean lineage. Some readers noted that names beginning with Frank, were in honor of Jacob Frank. I'm a Frankel on my mother's side and we sure didn't revere Jacob Frank. Maybe Kerry is a relative. He's a Frankel too.

Royal genes may win Kerry the White House

John Kerry’s great-grandmother comes from the Jewish family Fraenkel. Fraenkels, together with another Jewish family Pinkus built industrial plant in the Prussian (Silesian) Neustadt (Prudnik)- the small city in Upper Silesia (Oberschlesien), that now belongs to Poland.

Last month Sharon appointed a pro-PLO priest named Irenios as Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Israel. So anti-semitic is this priest that the Supreme Court overturned his appointment. Then why did Sharon stick his neck out for him? It's all real estate. Irenios is a real estate crook. Haaretz reminds us of a scam in the Galilee that he was questioned about:
"The police is remaining mum on the issue, except to
say it is handling the complaint. The court system
says that the case is in the hands of the police,
'and the judge was not aware of the police examination
until the question was raised' by Ha'aretz.
"According to the complaint, the lawyer-turned-judge
represented a group calling itself the Greek

Orthodox patriarch Metropolitan Irenios I, to develop the
land as a tourist and pilgrim center. "
Sharon's son Gilad is now being questioned for taking a bribe from a real estate developer named David Appel to use his father's influence with the Greek government to purchase land on a Greek island to be used for building a resort. Now we discover that the island land was owned by the Greek Orthodox Church and that is who Sharon had the influence with.
The same Greek Orthodox Church also owns the land where the Knesset sits, as well as the surrounding tracts. And look what Sharon is going to be building on it! My readers are so smart::

7. ISRAEL'S BLUE-WHITE HOUSE
Israel will have its own White House - to be called, perhaps, a
Blue-White House, based on the colors of Israel's flag. Yediot
Acharonot reports today that a new complex will be built to house the
Prime Minister's Office and Residence, covered entirely by reinforced
glass.
The new structure will be built in the government neighborhood in
Jerusalem, where the Knesset, Supreme Court, Bank of Israel and many
government offices currently stand. Construction is scheduled to
begin this year or next, and be completed by 2009.

March 1, 2004 - FROM HOROCHOW TO SACRAMENTO

It was early summer, 1975 and I was about to move to Israel. My zeide, grandfather, came over to my parents' home to say goodbye to me. Since, for all I knew, I might never see him again, I decided to make some inquiries that were long overdue. He never spoke of his family and as far as anyone knew, our little family in the middle of Canada were the only Chamishes in the world. I asked him if he knew of anyone else named Chamish. He said that 60 years ago, he heard that a cousin had made it to Baltimore.
I dialed long distance information (give me Baltimore, MD) and asked if there was anyone named Chamish in the directory. There were two entries, Benjamin and Donald. I assumed there were no Donalds roaming the European shtetls and took Benjamin's number and called it.
He answered the phone. "Good evening sir. I'm calling from Canada."
"Yes."
"Do you know anyone named Shlomi Chamish?"
"He was my cousin."
"Wait, I'll get him for you."
My grandfather took the receiver and immediately he began a smiling, spirited conversation in Yiddish. For the first time in 60 years, he spoke with family from the Old Country. The rest of my family was astounded. Why hadn't anyone been curious enough in all these years to ask him such a simple question?
Within days, my grandfather was flying to Baltimore where a joyous reunion took place. My father told me, "They toasted you for two days. Benjamin announced that you were the one Chamish who remembered what it is to be a Jew."
And it was Benjamin who broke the big news. One of my grandfather's brothers, David, made it to New York before the War. He had died but his two sons were living there. Suddenly, my father had two first cousins.
My sister was living in New York at the time and I had already moved to Israel when she called cousin Paul for the first time. He was not easy to persuade to meet. He was a trader and limited partner at Bear Stearns and adopted the tough cynicism of Wall Street. However, he relented and once he understood this wasn't some sort of scam to part money from him, was, like everyone else, astounded. He later introduced my sister to his brother and their two kids, and she instantly had two new first cousins, once removed.
When my sister got married in Ramat Gan, Paul flew in for the ceremony. We hit it off from the first moment. He, like me, was single with a wild streak and we loved each other's company. While serving in the IDF, I received an invitation to his niece Amy Chamish's wedding, and requested a furlough to attend. For the first of many times, Paul put me up at his mid-town apartment. Meanwhile, my parents, brother, and Canadian cousin all flew in for the wedding. Two Canadian and American branches of the Chamish family were reunited after six decades.
Shortly after arriving in Israel, I decided to investigate if there were relatives here as well. I went to the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem, Yad Vashem and asked the librarian to find me any records of a family named Chamish. Efficiently, she brought me a folder with fifteen names. I photocopied the batch and studied the documents at home.
The records were compiled voluntarily over the years. Survivors of the maelstrom filled out the forms: name, spouse's name, approximate date of birth, occupation, number of children and names: and where and when murdered. The names and addresses of those who had filled out the forms was at the bottom. These were the people I would try to contact.
I stared at the names of all these people with my name and looked away from the names of the death camps they were sent to. I mailed the forms to my father and requested that he gently go over them with my grandfather. A letter arrived two weeks later, "Okay Columbo, your zeide found his brother. He, his wife Pearl and their two children were lost."
Now it was time to do some leg work. For no other reason than the name seemed most likely, I called Avraham Chamish in Rehovot. I arranged a time to meet when my grandfather would accept a long distance call. My first impression of him was his resemblance to my grandfather and this impression never stopped: all Chamish males had the same build and features. But alas, after a few moments on the phone with my grandfather, they knew no one in common.
But I learned a lesson. This family was more spread out than I knew, and next time I would ask the older members to make a list of EVERYONE they could recall and what their work was. And that rule proved wise about six months later when I met Yaacov Chamish in his moshav near Rehovot.
Yaacov took to me immediately and stated simply, "I'll believe we're family. You don't have to prove it." But, short of DNA testing, I wanted an answer. I asked him to make a list of everyone he remembered, and I asked my grandfather to do the same. The challenge was this: I had found three branches of the family, all living within forty miles of each other, just south of Lvov. Their towns were Horochow, where my branch originated, Stervich and Berestichko. And there seemed to be no interaction between the communities.
The first exchange between Yaacov and my grandfather bore no fruit. Each went over his list of the perished but not a name in common could be found. Yaacov put down the phone and announced, "Well, that's that. We don't know the same people."
I pleaded for one last opportunity and asked he and my grandfather to squeeze the last names from their memories. Yaacov made a list of just five names. One of them was Lazar Hirsch, a butcher. My grandfather made a similar list. On it was a second cousin he vaguely recalled, a butcher named Lazar Hirsch.
And that's all it took to reunite the Horochow and Berestichko branches of the Chamish family.
There was one other branch, they left for the Russian town of Kozin, and a strong branch settled in Vineland, New Jersey. Over the years I have met the dispersed Chamishes and been delighted by the success of just about every member. Gideon was the junior table tennis champion of Israel, a career cut short by losing much of his hand in the Yom Kippur War. Leah was the junior show jumping champion of California. Leanna is an actress whose genre is horror films. But two people stood out for me because they had inherited my soul.
Rene Chamish, of the New Jersey branch, was a writer and a good one. She contributed to the Jewish Press in New York and sent me a lovely piece about her memories of her father. She was a rarity in the Chamish world, an Orthodox Jew.
And cousin Paul kept coming back to Israel. He couldn't stay away. He finally gave up his handsome Wall Street salary to become Orthodox, finally settling with his new family in the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem. His journey began barely a decade before when I asked my grandfather this most obvious question: are we alone in this world?
We were not.
But how much richer we would have been were it not for the Germans and the forces which promoted and funded Nazism.
Back to Israel and I visited a family from the Horochow branch in Haifa. Sadly, the husband, Mordechai had died in the army so no memories could be tapped. But he did leave a prize behind: a memorial book to the Jews of Horochow.
There were once 80,000 Jews in Horochow. A few hundred, at most, survived the Holocaust. And within were their pictures. Here is the Horochow Betar football team looking like winners, there is the theatre group. Here are the community leaders, there are the rabbis. All dead and gone.
Existing in our sickened world is a growing phenomenon called Holocaust denial. The believers of this idiocy have reached the conclusion that all the Horochows of Europe weren't wiped out. That the soccer teams are still on the pitch, the actors still reciting their lines, the community leaders still raising their funds and the rabbis still studying their tracts.
It's time someone put an end to their delusions, as much for their own dignity as those they claim weren't slaughtered by the millions.

And it was my very reluctant decision to accept an invitation to speak at a conference of such deniers in Sacramento, that is causing me my current aggravation. One Daniel Pipes spread the accusation over the internet that he has the proof needed to end "the Chamish cult." Since I am going to the conference, he reasoned, therefore I am a Holocaust denier. Without checking the facts, Pipes issued a blood libel against me.
I immediately contacted my attorney and received some solid advice. Pipes in arriving for the Jerusalem Conference, sponsored by Arutz Sheva, beginning mid-March for three days. He would slap him with a defamation of character suit and Pipes' passport would be confiscated unless he left a deposit with the court proving his intention to return for the trial. I could make his trip extremely uncomfortable and it wouldn't cost much to do it.
However, I think there may be a better way to expose this fraud. Pipes is speaking at a conference sponsored by Arutz Sheva, the Jewish Voice of Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Or in the common parlance of the media, the settlers have organized a conference aimed at preserving their community against a world determined to see Israel weakened then removed, quite likely with another Holocaust.
A "peace" process and "Roadmap" prepared by a New York think tank, the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR) is in fact, a carefully concocted recipe for massacre. A thousand new Jewish graves have been dug over the past three years but this isn''t nearly fast enough for the CFR.
The CFR is the most anti-Israeli organization in America and Daniel Pipes is a proud member of this august gang of hoodlums. They sponsor his think tank and they pay for his magazine. In return, he touts an anti-Islamic line that the CFR finds useful in its current military expansion. For this reason, right wing Jews think he is an ally. And they are so wrong. He will tow the CFR line in the end and sometimes he lets it slip. This little item appeared on Ric Shulman's site:

More because of the behavior of the organizers of this deniers convention than anything else, I decided to back out of attending. And Pipes took credit for this decision in his next blog. I don't like being cowed that way but the Pipes slander gave me a bitter taste of what I could look forward to if I did show up at this gathering of the deluded and dangerous.
Yesterday, I received two letters from an organizer, who believe it or not, has many good qualities, asking me to rescind my decision and arrive. I didn't answer them. I just couldn't make up my mind.
Last night I visited the Elozory family in Har Nof, Mr., Mrs. and son. It was the observation by Mrs. that turned the tide. She said, "You'll lose everything you built up in America."
Now what do I have to lose in America? For the past eight years I had gathered indisputable evidence that Yigal Amir could not have murdered Yitzhak Rabin. The evidence is overwhelming and the case is airtight. And this is well known in Israel where polls show that about half the country and over 75% of the religious and right, believe Rabin was murdered in an internal coup.
The reaction of American Jews has been one of complete neglect. The leadership of these Jews has taken extreme pain to hide the facts from their public and when rumors leak out, the handiest way to contain them is to revile me.
And nothing is going to change. American Jews will continue to accept outright fabrications as the true state of Israeli affairs and their CFR leaders including Bronfman, Lauder, Seigman, et al, like the leaders of the 30s and 40s, are guiding these Jews into supporting the murder of their people.
What the heck; I'm going to the conference. The worst that could happen is my name becomes recognizable to American Jews and maybe later, my message.
But I shouldn't be alone. Who appointed me the sole voice of Jewish reason and guts? I have many readers in the Sacramento area, four have already invited me to stay with them. One rabbi informed me that he is presenting a lecture by a Holocaust survivor to offset the deniers. It's time these Jews stood up for themselves and joined me at the deniers gala farce and maybe help put an end to the threat.
