November 30, 2004 - RAFUL REACTION RADIO

    Tuesday 30/11/04. At 7 AM I did a one hour interview on the Tamar Yonah Show, Arutz Sheva. Please listen to it while reading this piece. Call this a multi-media presentation.

     The show is barely done when a reaction arrives. You decide if I've been had or not.
     So I don't interrupt the flow, let's get one reference out of the way. Gonen Segev was one of eight members of the Knesset for Eitan's Tsomet Party. He was one of two who bolted to the Rabin government in 1993, in order to give it a Jewish majority in favor of the Oslo "peace" Accord. Last April, Segev was caught trying to smuggle 30,000 Ecstasy tablets into Israel. He has subsequently been charged with credit card fraud as well.

      "I heard the program. You got the idea right but you're way off on the details. I don't know the whole story but I know more than you. Don't ask how.
      "Raful was murdered but not the way you're guessing. And someone in his company helped the squad out. First, he called Raful the night before and told him to get to the site first thing in the morning to assess major storm damage near the Navy base. He arrived at 6:15, before the workers started their day. He followed a car to the damage site. The lead car stopped where the murder was supposed to take place. If you know anything about block and tackle, it's the method heavy lifting equipment uses. The block was supposed to crush Eitan to death in his car. The reason the public would hear was to be that Eitan was on his way to inspect a crane badly damaged in the storm when the block slipped and crushed him.
        "It almost worked. The problem was the block missed by half a meter and only crushed the passenger side of the car. Eitan survived and the squad went into panic mode. They killed him and threw the body into the water. Since the original plan went awry, they had to rig a new one. Now he was swept away by a wave. So they had to build a new accident in a hurry.
         "They moved the car back, as far away from the murder site as possible, with the damaged side facing the water, so a wave could be blamed for the damage. They took his cellphone and phoned the company man. After a few moments, they dipped the phone in water to short it out. When the dockworkers arrived, the company man informed them that Raful was on site and pointed to a squad member in the distance.
          "They didn't have time to think it out properly. They were establishing phoney alibis to prove Eitan was alive after they killed him, but you caught them anyway.
          "But you got the motive all wrong. It was only indirectly because of the Gaza withdrawal. Gonen Segev is in deep legal trouble and he's calling in his chips to save his butt. I don't know the story about why two of Eitan's party members bolted to Rabin, but Eitan did and Segev was putting the squeeze on him. If Eitan talked, he'd take Sharon and Peres down with him.
          "And Raful wasn't the only dead body around Segev. Again, I don't know anything about Segev's relationship with this Moshe Werner, other than they were convicted together of smuggling the Ecstasy pills into the country. I do know he was shut up for the same reason Raful was. He knew too much about why Segev left Eitan's party and some people were afraid he would talk."

Suspect in drug smuggling case dies after attempting
suicide

Moshe Verner, the cousin of former government minister
Gonen Segev, died on Monday in the Ichilov Hospital in
Tel Aviv days after attempting to kill himself in his
cell at Abu Kabir detention center.
Verner and Segev were indicted for allegedly trying to
smuggle 32,000 tablets of the drug Ecstasy from the
Netherlands into Israel, and were remanded until
completion of legal procedures against them.
Verner, Segev and a third man, Ariel Friedman, were
arrested in April shortly after the drug cargo was
discovered by Dutch police in Amsterdam's
international airport.
Werner's suicide attempt took place early Friday
morning, when he went into the toilet in his cell, and
tried to hang himself. The deputy commander of Tel
Aviv police, Danny Chen, has ordered an investigation
into the matter.
He failed to recover from his wounds and on Monday
died a cerebral death.
Verner, a former Zim seaman, claimed in his defense
that he received a parcel from his friend Ariel
Friedman which he then passed on to Segev. Verner
claimed that neither he nor Segev had any knowledge of
the parcel's contents.
 
Another Murder Coverup But This One Has Its Funny Side

      The police announced they had cracked the Judge Adi Azar case. Now we all know that the judge was assessing the PLO huge damages to be paid to victims of its terror. And we know he was just another victim of the assassination squad for peace. If you don't know, the whole sordid episode is detailed in my new book, Shabtai Tzvi, Labor Zionism And The Holocaust.
       It took the planners several months to come up with the following boneheaded conspiracy: From the Jerusalem Post, 29/11/04:
 
           
                    AZAR KILLED FOR BEING JUDGE

             Police arrested 5 suspects allegedly involved in what they called a "random murder."
             According to evidence police obtained during the investigation, underworld figure
             Yitzhak Tzeziashvili, currently serving a life sentence for murder, orchestrated the
             scheme and ordered Azar's assassination for the sole purpose of shaking up the
              judicial system in hopes of getting his prison sentence reduced.
        
     The accused is a small time hood who murdered someone over a business dispute. But one day, from his tiny cell, he decided to "shake up the judicial system,' by murdering a judge who had nothing to do with his own trial. So he asks a fellow prisoner named Rafi Nachmani, who was set to go on furlough, if he wouldn't mind murdering a judge for him while he was away. One can only imagine the conversation:

TZ- I want this Judge Azar, rubbed out.

NA - He was the fink who sent you to the big house?

TZ - No, I never heard of him.

NA - So whaddya wanna snuff him for?

TZ - To shake up the judicial system and get my sentenced reduced.

NA - Do you get a reduced sentence for murdering a judge?

TZ - Sure, just do it and watch how your sentence gets reduced.

NA - You got it. Whaddo I get out of it?

TZ - Nuttin'. You think I make a good living in here? But you do get to shake up the
       judicial system.

NA - Well den. I'm on the case.

     Can you imagine the sheer desperation of the murder squad to come up with this wallapalooza?
For those who read Hebrew, visit the following site. It is a purported transcript between the police and the accused, explaining that the real murderer was an Arab and if he is caught, the whole peace process will collapse. TZ is offered life in prison like a king if he cooperates, and God help him if he doesn't. I've decided that the transcript is speculative but look at it anyway to understand how much thinking Israelis are buying this latest whitewash.
        Recall when I wrote about Azar, I predicted that a patsy was on the way. I sure didn't predict anything nearly this stupid.

November 25, 2004 - MURDER OF RAFAEL "RAFUL" EITAN PROVEN

Beyond any shadow of any doubt, Raful Eitan did not die while carried off by a wave as he was standing on a breakwater at Ashdod port. We have been lied to and maybe this time, we have enough to get this political murder honestly investigated.
      Breaking this murder was as easy as opening pages one and two of Yediot Ahronot 24/11/04.
I am sending two attachments separately. For those whose programs automatically delete attachments, fish them out of your Trash box. They're worth it. I pre-tested the bytes. Both attachments took 8 seconds to send. There should be no complaints about large attachments.
       Now look:

Attachment one - Eitan's car beside the spot on the breakwater where he allegedly fell in and drowned. First, look at the water. It is dead calm. Eitan was on the protected side of the breakwater. There is barely a ripple in all of this bay of the harbor. There are no big waves which could have towed Eitan in the water, and if a miracle tsunami had appeared, he would have swum to shore in seconds.
          But now look at the damage to his car. Observe the smashed windshield, the collapsed roof, the near total destruction of the right hand side of the vehicle. Now if anyone is crazy enough to think that a wave caused the wreckage, note the damage on the left hand side of the car as well. That car was rammed by something sharp there, by something powerful and blunt on the other side, and it appears that a fifty pound boulder fell on the roof.

Attachment Two - Raful's corpse found on the military side of the harbor. Now recall the calm waters where Raful was supposed to have fallen in and ask how his body floated so far away. But more important, this is an exposed part of the harbor. Look at the water. It's churning, but no wave comes close to reaching the top of the pier. These photos were taken some 90 minutes after Eitan  drowned, however it happened. The weather could not have changed much. There are no killer waves anywhere.

             Now we know something about Raful's last minutes. He tried to escape his assailants in his car and was violently prevented from doing so. The murderers actually thought by parking his car on the breakwater, that people would think a magic wave wrecked it on all sides and from above,
             All doubt is now evaporated. Raful Eitan knew he was in trouble, he tried to escape his murderers, was chased and sadly, was caught. It's all in the car. He did not have an accident and drown. It's all in the waves.
             In my initial analysis on the day of the murder, I surmised that Eitan was going to come out against the Gush Katif evacuation and he had all the dirt on Sharon he needed to succeed. That appears to be the case. Here are some words from his last interview:
      
Raful rarely gave interviews of late. One of these ­ with the "Iton Tel Aviv" newspaper in January of this year ­ was reprinted by Ynet on the day of his death. Excerpts:
"My opinion is that all these efforts [referring to Sharon's disengagement plan ­ ed.] are for naught. With the Arabs, we will never be able to make peace... This is a struggle between civilizations. We are a foreign culture, and in my opinion, Islam will never make peace with our foreign entity, and with the fact that it has political independence and even defeats them in wars. They'll never agree... I can prove that whoever thinks that concessions, compromises, 'Geneva,' Ami Ayalon's plan, are what will change the Middle East situation ­ in my opinion is mistaken.

                 What he could prove and who he could finger, undoubtedly cost him his life. He is the latest of a long line of political murders ordered by the "peacemakers" of Israel.
                 What we have so far failed to do with Rabin, let us succeed with Raful. We have the proof. We cannot let this opportunity pass. We can bring justice to Raful. We can yet bring salvation to Israel.

November 23, 2004 - ANOTHER "PEACE" MURDER? EARLY MYSTERIES SURROUND THE LOSS OF RAFUL EITAN

       I am obligated by a swarm of requests to look at the death of Gen. "Raful" Eitan. Barely half a day has passed since his drowning was announced and that is way too early to draw any conclusions. Yet many readers have. Take a quick perusal of the following four typical letters:


I don't buy it.
Few knew that Raful was in constant touch with people
in Yesha and goverment saw him as one of the "silent"
leaders of resistance to disengagement. What a way to
go...

Well. Maybe this is the next chapter of the new book? What was Raful doing on a breakwater in difficult seas? Who was he on the cellular phone with? Accident? Suicide? Something more sinister- another right winger bites the dust?

Sorry for being impatient, but I am wondering about the accidental death or suicide or murder this morning on the docks. "Raful arrived at the Ashdod seaside early this morning, as he did every day..." A person with a routine is easy to strike. Was this really an accident?

Who murdered him? Remember when Dr. Chayen told us at a Public Commission meeting about presenting his documentation on Rabin to Lieberman and to Eitan, and that Eitan told Chayen the documentation clearly indicated Amir could not have been the killer? As you have repeatedly written, one by one The Good Guys go.

     Okay, I'll take my first stab at it. Let's look at the first reports and possible motives.
     As for motives, there are basketsful of them. In the 90s Eitan headed an anti-withdrawal party, Tsomet, which was utterly corrupted by the Rabin government in order to amass a Jewish Knesset majority for the first Oslo Accord. Tsomet MKs Alex Goldfarb and Gonen Segev were bribed out of the party and later, Eitan was forced from politics over a scandal involving using party funds to build his mistress a house. That was the end of Tsomet's battle against Oslo's evacuation of  the Jews of Yesha.
      The attrition rate of influential politicians opposed to this "peace" process is beyond statistical likelihood, with Eitan possibly joining the ranks of, for starters,  Gur, Ben Elissar, Zeevi, and yes, Rabin himself.
       Eitan openly declared that all the evidence indicates that Amir could not have been Rabin's murderer. As IDF Chief Of Staff while Sharon was Defence Minister in the 80s, he knew where all of Sharon's bodies were buried and had he chosen to release his knowledge, he could have brought Sharon down and put a stop to the Gush Katif evacuation.
        But we are speculating since, so far, we don't know if that is what he intended to do. So let's jump to the evidence, which considering the newness of the event, is paltry...but nonetheless, very enticing.

Raful arrived at the Ashdod seaside early this morning, as he did every day, to oversee the continued construction of the new HaYovel Port. He drove up to the site, and while standing on the breakwater, was either overtaken by a large wave or slipped into the sea for other reasons. Only after an hour or more did his car attract attention, and a search began. A helicopter helped in the search efforts, and his body was found close to 8 AM. Resuscitation efforts by Magen David Adom teams failed to revive him.

Former Chief of Staff and government minister Rafael (Raful) Eitan was found dead this morning,
the victim of drowning in the waters of the Port of Ashdod. Eitan's vehicle was near the scene;
he was apparently touring the site of the Ashdod Jubilee Port as part of his duties as project head. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate him, but were not successful.

Eitan was IDF Chief of Staff from 1978-83. In 1982, together with then Minister of Defense Ariel Sharon, Eitan formulated the plan to eradicate the PLO's military power in Lebanon that led to the 18-year long Lebanon War.

Former chief of General Staff and cabinet minister Rafael "Raful" Eitan drowned early Tuesday morning after falling from a breakwater in Ashdod Port into the stormy Mediterranean.
Eitan, 75, had been employed for the past two years by the Ashtrom construction company and served as project manager overseeing the construction of breakwaters for a new section of the port.
Workers said that Eitan told a fellow worker in a telephone call at about 7 a.m. that he was on his way to the port to inspect equipment following Monday night's storm. The conversation was then cut off.
Dock workers told police they saw Eitan arrive at around 8 a.m. He parked his car near the construction area and they lost sight of him.

According to preliminary police findings, Eitan apparently was standing on the edge of one of the breakwaters his team was constructing and was swept into the sea by a large wave.
The Ports Authority declared a state of emergency, and police, IAF helicopters and navy boats began searching for his body.

Police said they were certain Eitan died in an accident and did not commit suicide. Senior officers, however, said they do not understand why he was standing on the breakwater when the waves were dangerously high.
"The waves Tuesday were very stormy and particularly threatening," one senior officer said. "Eitan, who was known to be courageous, should have set himself more limits and should not have been there."

At 9 a.m., an IAF helicopter located Eitan's body off the military section of the port. His body was retrieved shortly afterward by a group of navy divers and he was pulled aboard a navy ship, where attempts were made to resuscitate him.

Transportation Minister Meir Sheetrit has ordered Ashdod Port director-general Shaul Rotem to establish a committee of inquiry to investigate the circumstances surrounding Eitan's death.

The Eitan family expressed shock upon hearing the news of his death, voicing harsh criticism of the government for failing to send an official envoy to deliver the tragic news.

In 1983 Eitan entered political life and established the Tzomet movement, which acted against the withdrawal from the Sinai Peninsula. In 2003 he was nominated to serve as logistic coordinator for the Ashtrom company, which was improving the breakwater at the Ashdod port.

The Ashtrom company reported that the last contact with him was at around 7 A.M. Tuesday morning. He called from a cellular phone to senior company officials to report on the state of equipment at the site following an overnight storm.

Ashtrom officials said the conversation was cut off, and, after they were unable to reach Eitan on his phone a search and rescue force was dispatched to the area.


Questions:

Did Eitan drown at 7 AM or 8 AM?

This is no minor issue.

Jerusalem Post: At 7 AM, Eitan calls someone to inform him that he is on the way to the port to inspect equipment. The call suddenly is cut off. Dock workers tell the police they saw Eitan arrive at 8 AM. The body is located at 9 AM.
 
Israel National News: Eitan is last seen at 7 AM and his body is recovered at 8 AM.

Galei Tzahal (Army Radio): Eitan is talking on his cellphone when a large wave cut it off.

Haaretz: Quoting Ashtrom, Eitan's company, he contacted them to report he was already at the site at 7 AM when the cellphone was cut off.

     Okay, what's the truth? Was he on site at 7AM or 8AM? Was his body located at 8 AM or 9 AM?Which leads to the phone calls. If he was on the site at 8 AM, who was Eitan talking on his phone to at 7 AM and assuming a wave wasn't responsible, why did his phone cut off? If, in fact, Eitan was on the breakwater at 7 AM, why did it take two hours to find his body? The 7 AM arrival time was reported by a spokesman for Ashtrom. Why does his version clash so radically with that of the dock workers who reported to the police that they saw Eitan arrive at 8 AM?
      People have to be lying. Without much to go on yet but past experience, I'm inclined to believe the dock workers were telling the truth. But I'm also not going to discount the possibility that at a distance, they could have seen someone who was supposed to look like Eitan. That's the easiest way out I can envision for the blatantly contradictory testimonies regarding where Eitan was at what time, and who he was talking to on the cellphone, at what time.

What was he doing on the breakwater in the first place?

         The police are asking this question with excellent reason. Eitan wasn't an idiot. The Tuesday morning he died was wet and stormy. He could see the sea was churning. Why would be put himself in harm's way?  A breakwater has two sides: a stormy one facing the sea, and a quiet one protecting the port. Now imagine the effort it would take him to drown. He would have to walk to the edge of the breakwater on the sea side. Why would he make such an effort to inspect equipment? The Mediterranean is not the Pacific. Swells can reach three meters; not enough to tow a man out to sea unless he went far out of his way to make sure it happened. We repeat the question the police are asking: why would he do that?

Smaller questions:

Why was Eitan alone in such conditions?
Why did no one see him fall in?
Eitan was a good swimmer. If he fell off a pier, why didn't he swim to safety a few feet away?
Couldn't Ashtrom have sent a worker to inspect the equipment? Was there some necessity for Eitan to arrive at 7 AM, an hour before work began, on a cold, rainy morning?
Why, in 2003, was Eitan given this job in the first place? He was a farmer and soldier, with no harbor building experience.
Why wasn't Eitan's family informed of his passing?

    Allow me to pass early judgement; the death of Raful doesn't add up and already warrants an honest investigation, if one is available in Israel.

November 21, 2004 - THE ALMOST FILES

***They are my almost files. I stored them because I almost wanted to expand on them and thought I might change my mind. But they remained almost worthy. Let's start with gloating vindication when I got something very right and no one believed me at the time. We'll get the ball rolling with a couple of examples. First, remember my article, Here Come The Troops? Allow me to refresh your memory:***

For the past ten years I've been repeating the same message: The Oslo "Peace" process was a planned war process whose final goal was the occupation of Israel and, especially, Jerusalem, by the troops of the architects of the global takeover known commonly as the New World Order.

NATO is also considering sending forces to the Gaza Strip after Israel implements the disengagement plan, if Israel and the Palestinian Authority reach an agreement on the withdrawal and ask for NATO help.

Spain had approved President Arafat’s request to participate in an international force that will replace Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources said on Thursday.

Prime Minister Ahmad Qurei conveyed Arafat’s request to Spain during his recent visit to Madrid, saying that Spanish Prime Minister Jose Zapatero might visit the Occupied Territory in fall.

MADRID - Spanish foreign minister Miguel Angel Moratinos on Friday urged the European Union to take an active role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

"The European Union, from the Spanish point of view, cannot be left aside," Moratinos said at a news conference with Palestinian peace negotiator Saeb Erekat at the Foreign Ministry in Madrid.
"It's time for the European Union to assume its responsibilities," Moratinos said.
Moratinos, a former EU envoy to the Middle East, said his ministry was committed to peace efforts in the Middle East and said [u]he would travel to the region in autumn for discussions with both the Israelis and Palestinians.
"Spain is ready for diplomacy, and later we'll see what contributions are needed on the spot for a definite reconciliation," he said.
Erekat said the peace talks with the Israelis need to be revived and called on the European Union through Spain for help.

***And who is the spiritual leader of Spain, but the Holy See? My readers have asked me to investigate the alleged Nazi past of the pope and there were days when I almost thought I'd do it. But I never did.***

The current Pope, John Paul II (Karol Wojtyla) has also been accused of being a Nazi collaborator, even before he entered the church. According to some Jewish authors, fundamentalist Protestant preachers, and certain disciples of conspiriologist Mae Brussell, John Paul II worked in Nazi-occupied Poland for either Solvay Drugs of the I.G. Farben cartel in a factory at Auschwitz, or as a salesman for Farben's chemical division, selling Zyklon B, the deadly cyanide gas, directly to the Nazi camp at Auschwitz. Supposedly, John Paul, an actor by inclination, entered the priesthood in 1946 in order to escape arrest and trial as a Nazi war criminal. (13) While fundamentalists of certain sects cannot be regarded as objective or reliable in matters concerning the Catholic Church, Avro Manhattan (14) reports that not even Wojtyla's closest friend and confidante, Bishop Andre Deskur, would reveal what John Paul did during the war years.

In William Cooper's book Behold a Pale Horse, and came across this item that I had forgotten about. It is on page 89 & 90 and Mr. Cooper does not have it footnoted. I'm wondering if you can confirm it?

In the early 1940's, the I.G. Farben Chemical Company employed a Polish salesman who sold cyanide to the Nazis for use in Auschwitz. The same salesman also worked as a chemist in the manufacture of the poison gas. This same cyanide gas along with Zyklon B and malathion was used to exterminate millions of Jews and other groups. Their bodies were then burned to ashes in the ovens. After the war the salesman, fearing for his life, joined the Catholic Church and was ordained a priest in 1946. One of his closest friends was Dr. Wolf Szmuness, the mastermind behind the November/78 to October /79 and March/80 to October /81 experimental hepatitis B vaccine trials conducted by the Center for Disease Control in New York, San Francisco and four other American cities that loosed the plague of AIDS upon the American people. The salesman was ordained Poland's youngest bishop in 1958. After a 30 day reign his predecessor was assassinated and our ex-cyanide gas salesman assumed the papacy as Pope John Paul II.

***I wonder how many remember my article, Edgar And The Terminator. It's now a major section in my new book Shabtai Tzvi, Labor Zionism And The Holocaust. For those who don't, I predicted that the CFR's Lawrence Eagleburger was working to make sure Holocaust survivors would never see a penny of insurance rightly owed them. Remember?***

EDGAR AND THE TERMINATOR

Certainly, it is worth more than mere noting that Bush's grandfather and Schwarzenegger's father were enthusiastic supporters of Naziism. But look even more closely at how the circle closes. Edgar Bronfman's letter writing partner is Lawrence Eagleburger, the government's international director for Holocaust insurance claims. The Terminator's political partner is obsessed with having these claims
wiped out in California.
Apparently opposing Schwarzenegger and Buffet's nefarious goal of depriving Holocaust victims of compensation would be Bronfman. The Terminator, if he has his way, will have to go through Bronfman's co-signator on the Bush letter, Lawrence Eagleburger.

***To my dismay, I was right. I have been on the lookout for years to find something connecting Peres to New Age, and I think you turned up an important one here.
Yakar is one of the more successful Jewish Renewal outposts here in Israel. I wrote a whole section on JR in my Rainbow Swastika (go to: http://searchlight.iwarp.com/articles/na_missionize.html ). In 10 words or less, they are Buddhist-Sufi missionaries in rabbinic clothing.
The "father" of Jewish Renewal, Reb Zalman Schacter, often passes for a new sort of Hasidic rabbi (originally got his rabbinic ordination with the Lubavitch), but he is a professor and dept. chairman at the Nairopa (Buddhist) University in the States. He founded the Berkeley CA "Aquarian Minyan", aptly named for its New Age orientation and JR's willingness to dress up any kind of religion and call it Jewish. In fact, the "Reb" himself does not even have a problem in reciting the Muslim articles of faith with Palestinians (see http://members.aol.com/TASafinah/tarchiv/rebzalman.html).
Yakar is listed all over the Internet as a JR center, along with CLAL and ALEPH and Tikkun (all Reb Zalman's groups) - see http://web.grinnell.edu/careerdevelopment/internships/SpiritualPracticeReligion.html for an easy example.
One of the Yakar pillars, David Zeller, is a staunch disciple of Jewish Renewal. I wrote to him personally years ago and confirmed that. See http://www.davidzeller.org/bio for the company he keeps. And yet they can get respectable rabbis like Riskin and Hartmann to come and participate with them.
So when the Yakar FAQ deals with the subject of "non-traditional" Jewish thinking, you get some interesting double-talk:

November 6, 2004 - THE LAST RABIN CONVENTION

Meeting With A Nurse

            Monday, Nov. 1- I am selling my books at a gathering in Jerusalem. A friend of my Miami film producer Peter Goldman meets me. He has some amazing information. His friend is an Ichilov Hospital nurse, responsible for keeping hospital records. She was on duty when Rabin was brought in for the last time.
             I get antsy. "I want to meet her," I say. He calls her on his cellphone and tells her that a journalist would like to talk to her about Rabin's treatment in Ichilov. She agrees and asks when we should meet.
             "Tell her tonight. Tell her tonight," I suggested, barely concealing my excitement. Actually, I didn't conceal it at all.
              Two hours later I'm in her living room. I show her some documents and ask her what they mean. They include the surgeon's report, recording a frontal chest wound, and the operation summary, recording the same thing.
               "Where did you get these?" she asked. "They're supposed to be locked in my computer."
               "There was an honest doctor in Ichilov who leaked them to me."
               "Who? Pini Halperin I bet. Who?"
               "It's not important who. It's more important to know why. Because the lies surrounding the Rabin murder are wrecking our country. These records show that Rabin was shot from the front. You saw the operation. Are they accurate."
                "What difference does it make?"
                "Amir never shot Rabin from the front."
             The nurse ran to the kitchen with my new acquaintance. He told me what she said.
                 "She was really agitated and scared. You could see it in her face. She said she thought I was just there to get some background for a memorial article, not this. She was going to call the police to confiscate the documents I showed her. There was no mistaking that you got the wound right. She just never realized the significance of it before."
              The nurse returned to the salon and told me: "Ichilov is my life. It's my career. I'll never risk losing my job. I won't talk to you anymore."

Prelude To A Conference

                Dr. David Chayen is head of Vascular Surgery at Kaplan Hospital. He is a man of marvelous integrity. And he has done some fine ballistics research proving Amir could not have shot Rabin. But he refuses to accept that there was a third frontal shot to Rabin, believing instead in a magic bullet theory of his own. This has caused terrible disunity in the campaign for truth. It ignores the most basic evidence, including:

                - Two government ministers who saw Rabin's corpse, Dr. Ephraim Sneh and Shim Peres, are on tape declaring that there were three wounds.
                - The blood-soaked songsheet that could only have been in Rabin's front pocket.
                - The hospital records including the Surgeon's Review and Operation Summary recording three shots.
                 - The Pathologist's Report, recording a frontal hole in Rabin's clothing.

And on and on.

                   By insisting on a two shot murder, Dr. Chayen was mocking the findings not just of me, but of the excellent research found in the books of Natan Gefen, Dr. David Morrison, Michael Raz and
M.D. Ben Ami.
                   This year, I had a reluctant witness and though she may never go public, she saw Rabin's operation, and at a bare minimum, did not deny that my reading of the wounds was correct. Before the conference began, I e-mailed the members of the Rabin Re-Investigation Committee with the latest information, combined with a plea for unity. To his great credit, Dr. Chayen did not stress his two bullet theory during his speech and all audience members felt it was his best lecture of all his previous conference presentations.
                  Unfortunately the conference moderator, Prof. Aryeh Zaritsky was not prepared to promote unity and this wasn't the first time.

A Talented Committee

                       The Rabin Committee is a talented bunch and all have contributed strong research on the subject, all except Prof. Zaritsky who has never actually engaged in original research nor contributed any new findings. As for the others:

                       Yaacov Verker, the chairman, has been a tiger at tracking down evidence. Perhaps his greatest triumph was convincing the general manager of Ichilov's security firm to sign a legal declaration that he saw TWO bloodstains in Rabin's car, and one couldn't have been from Rabin.
                        Adir Zik like no one else, traced the role of the Shabak in the murder.
                        Prof. Hillel Weiss has written stately prose on the political background of the murder.
                        Dr. David Chayen has conclusively proved that the metal composition of the bullets that felled Rabin were not found in Amir's pistol. 
                        Prof. Zaritsky has done noble work promoting the issue but has contributed no new findings.

                        Which is why he should have been the last committee member to determine the contents of a vital law suit we had planned.

Sabotage A La Nitzana

         In 1999, Labour Party Knesset Member, Ophir Pines, abused his position, and from the podium
of parliament, ordered all bookstores to stop selling my book, Who Murdered Yitzhak Rabin. So I sued him and chose Nitzana Darshan-Leitner as my attorney.
         At first, I was encouraged by her performance. We won round one. The court agreed with us that Pines could not use his parliamentary immunity to stop the proceedings.
         Round Two was a different matter. The lawyer for the Attorney-General appealed to the judge to stop the suit on any technicality, and he agreed. (Full details are in my book, The Last Days Of Israel). But so did Nitzana. She counselled me to agree to a closure with a humiliating conclusion. I would have to give 1000 shekels to charity for wasting the court's time.
          For years I thought she did her best for me, until the radio/internet reporter Shahaf Pilovitch
asked to see the court protocols. He was aghast. "There is no legal closure," he told me. "No ruling on why the suit was closed. The whole thing is illegal. I've got news for you. Nitzana didn't defend you."
          He put the court protocols on his web site and this year,  M.D. Ben-Ami, in his powerful book
Tolaat Yaacov Ve Dod Yishmael  (Tammuz Publishing, Tel Aviv), analyzed the protocols and came up with the same conclusion as Pilovitch. I wasn't properly defended in court.
          However, I wasn't aware of this when I suggested Nitzana as the attorney for the Rabin Committee in a suit that was guaranteed to blow the lid off the Rabin coverup. In February 2001, Yediot Achronot ran a seven page report on the Rabin Conference of November 2000, which was a classic and ugly piece of slander against me and the Committee. This was the opening we had been waiting for. A suit against Yediot would become a national issue.
          So the Committee fired the opening salvo by organizing a press conference at the Journalists House in Tel Aviv. Verker did an excellent job of bring the media in. After opening statements by Verker, me and Zaritsky, every question was asked of Zaritsky. He rambled on about nothing for an hour and the evidence brought by Verker and me was ignored. The government - controlled reporters were instructed to soften the blow by concentrating on the weakest link. The potential effect of the press conference was successfully nullified. 
          The initial meeting between Nitzana and us was suspicious enough. I would not be named in the suit, nor would Adir Zik, though we were as damaged by the article as anyone else. Nitzana claimed we were too well known for "extremist" views, as if one of the plaintiffs, Prof. Hillel Weiss wasn't. For reasons I didn't understand, Yaacov Verker was also excluded from the list of plaintiffs. It didn't occur to me that the real reason was that we were the most informed of the group, and would bring the court the best evidence. The plaintiffs were now just Prof. Aryeh Zaritsky, Prof. Hillel Weiss and Dr. David Chayen. I claim Nitzana was also instructed to play on the ego of Zaritsky to nullify the potential effect of the suit.
           Before composing the first draft of her suit, I invited Nitzana to a salon lecture of mine near her home. I noticed she took no notes and showed zero interest in my claims. I understood why when she presented her suit to the Committee. It was worthless in evidentiary terms, meaning it was worthless legally.           
           After receiving the suit by fax, I told Yaacov Verker that I would not have anything to do with it. The suit spent the first pages examining a side issue, Dr. Chayen's ballistics conclusions. It was confusing to the point that no one would understand it. Then the suit expounded on Dr. Chayen's magic bullet theory. I was disgusted by the prospect of the court hearing this hopeless argument and I absolved myself of any part of the suit. I would not even testify if it came to court.
           The committee phoned me at home for my input, but Prof. Zaritsky made sure I would not influence anyone to junk this junk. He took over the leadership of the suit and raised thousands of shekels through his newsgroup members to support it. I felt awful for the way these good-hearted people were cheated. But I was out.
           In late 2002, a documentary filmmaker insisted that I warn the Committee who Nitzana was working for. He phoned me and said, "I thought Nitzana's work would make a decent film, so I spent some time with her. You'd better watch out. She and her husband were bragging to me about all the Shabak hotshots who consulted her, and all the meetings they had with the heads of the Shabak."
            I warned Yaacov Verker but he didn't take me seriously.
            Shortly after, Nitzana announced that she had organized a series of seminars which included high-level security meetings with high-ranking officers of the Shabak. I sent Verker her announcement and told him, "How can she represent you against the Shabak, when she is on the Shabak's payroll?"
             Verker finally understood, but again did nothing. Zaritsky had his worthless suit and his Shabak lawyer. And our golden opportunity was gone for good.

Another Year, Another Conference

           Six months previous to this year's conference, Prof. Uri Milstein presented a lecture on the Rabin murder conspiracy as part of his history course. The lecturer that night was a tiny Russian mathematician who offered the dumbest lecture on the subject I had ever heard. Luckily, Natan Gefen, Verker and I were there to show the students what a pathetic attempt at debunking this was.
            For years, a Jerusalem doctor has been trying the convince me of an even dumber idea. Note, I am not going to honor either with an explanation of what they "think." This time, the doctor appealed to Zaritsky to speak at the conference and I nixed it, explaining that we were skating on thin enough ice without importing crackpot theories to the gathering. So Zaritsky simply invited him behind my back to speak during my allotted time.
            This year's conference was supposed to include a discussion panel, that's how it was advertised, and I invited a panel member to attend. But Zaritsky decided to cancel the panel. But that's not all:

Conference Diary

4 PM - The conference is scheduled to begin at 4 PM at Jerusalem's Journalists House, Bet Agron. This was Verker's idea and it was brilliant. So many people packed the hall that my speech was delayed until 4:30. This year, the hall was booked until 10 PM, so at 6, Zaritsky told me to end my speech and within a few minutes I did. That was the English language presentation; at 8:30, I would give the same lecture in Hebrew. Meanwhile, four other lecturers would present half hour lectures.

6 PM - The hall is so crowded that the audience is packed even on the stairs leading to the hall. A person who can tell these things, estimated that about 250 people passed through the conference during the course of the day and evening. Best of all, most of the audience were new to the subject and the distribution of religious/secular was about 50/50. We had an event. So guess what? Not one media outlet reported it.

8:30 PM - The speakers, Dr. Milshtein, Verker, Adir Zik, Dr. Chayen were all in top form. Now it was my turn. But Zaritzky had a surprise for me: My time would be taken up first with the crackpot theories of the Jerusalem doctor, and mathematician. That was it for me. I left the building intending to wait until the end of the event to collect my books and my valiant son selling them.

9:20 PM - Verker's secretary and her husband see me sitting on a bench outside the conference. They ask, "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be speaking?"
               I explain that I will not follow the cockamamie crap on the podium now. Zaritsky can have his way. He always does no matter what the damage.
              The husband gets agitated: "Are you nuts? All those people in there came to hear you. You can't let them down. This year is different. The crowd is filled with respected critics and you have to fix the damage."
              He was right, of course, but at 9:20, I would have about twenty minutes, if I was lucky, to present my findings. But the pep talk did its work. I went to the security guard and asked her to phone her company. I said that I would pay her double salary if they would keep the building open an extra hour. It worked.
              I walked to the hall to make an announcement that I would yet speak. I am stopped by a participant who tells me, "You'd better watch it a bit. The chemistry on the podium between Zaritsky and Verker is really weird. I'd stay away and not get involved."
               Good advice, but I had a speech to give. The large audience stayed for me. I began, "Enough nonsense and garbage! Let's look at the facts."
               With the great Adir Zik by me, that's what I did. I gave one of my best speeches in years.
               However, it's the last time with this group. Next year is the tenth anniversary of the assassination and there will be enormous interest. But I'll be elsewhere.

The Media Coverups At Full Speed

       The most telling moment of this year's Rabin media fiasco occurred at about 10 PM, Nov. 4, on Channel One. A panel of religious Uncle Toms and secular liars was discussing the significance of the Rabin legacy when a glimmer of truth emerged. A pretty secular sociology professor noted, "You're missing the real tear in our fabric. A significant number of people in this country, 16% the last time I checked, don't believe that Yigal Amir was the murderer." Her figure is six years old but that wasn't the moral of this story. She was cut off and never asked another question.
        I was invited to appear on Channel 10's popular youth program, Exit. The producers informed me that the owners of Channel Ten put a stop to my appearance. And who are these owners but Ronald Lauder of the CFR and his local lackey, Sholomo Ben Zvi. They not only bought this channel, they bought almost all of the religious/conservative media including Hatsofe, Makor Rishon, and the religious channel Tchelet.
        As we know, Lauder has been working hand in hand with Ehud Olmert to throw the Jews out of Gaza. Their destination will be the Negev. And guess who will accommodate them and the other 250,000 Jews of Yesha?

JNF LAUNCHES LONG-TERM NEGEV INITIATIVE
The Jewish National Fund - the official "caretaker" organization of the land of Israel - has announced what it calls an "ambitious long-term initiative to increase the population of the Negev with Israel's New Age Pioneers."

The plan, entitled, "Blueprint Negev: It's Not a Mirage. It's Our Vision," details the development of the infrastructure for 25 new commuter communities, using the cities of Be'er Sheva, Eilat and Mitzpeh Ramon as hubs. The new towns will include new housing, reservoirs, community parks, and other amenities necessary to meet the needs of young families. The Negev Desert comprises 60% of the land of Israel, yet only 8% of the population resides there, according to JNF figures.

JNF President Ronald S. Lauder announced Blueprint Negev at the opening plenary of JNF's National Leadership Conference in Los Angeles two weeks ago. He said that two years of research by JNF and Israeli government agencies are the basis for the plan, which aims to bring 250,000 new residents to the least populated part of Israel in the next five years.

         The new Jerusalem Post editor David Horovitz will never reveal the Rabin murder truth because, for one thing, shortly after the murder he hosted conspirator Carmi Gillon at a gathering of the Peres-sponsored Yakar. For another, Horovitz compiled a dopey and lying book about the Rabin murder.
          A reader of mine also claims that in an internal Hollinger report, Horovitz was accused of stealing Jerusalem Post charity funds to buy a doctorate at Haifa University. Now look what happened when he went looking for the facts:
